I have purchased a couch from [redacted] Furniture in Aril 2016. I signed an agreement form to have all payments to taken out on a monthly basis. The sales person processed all the paperwork at the store. A week later, they ask me to sign the SAME paperwork again via Email. I, again, sign the paperwork. They have not yet attempted to draft any payments from my bank account. A week ago, I receive a bill in the mail from [redacted] furniture saying that I am late on my payments, and now I receiving debt collector phone calls at work. They have not processed the "Auth only Draft" yet. They are now affecting my credit score.Product_Or_Service: Grey CouchOrder_Number: [redacted]Desired SettlementI would like them to own up their mistake and forgive any late payments, being that they have not processed any paperwork on my behalf. I would like them to start processing my payments electronically as previously agreed to. Business Response This complaint has addressed by the [redacted], [redacted] already. Consumer Response The request was not dealt with by [redacted] store yet. They simply punted it to their banking company, which they had to fix the payment issues. I still have to make double payments and I have not recieved any emails from them regarding this. Nice to know they can lie to the Revdex.com...Final Business Response We do not nor have we ever had any customer to sign a document allowing the bank to draft any funds. He signed a credit application authorizing [redacted] Bank to run his credit report and he also signed an authorization form allowing [redacted] Bank to hold $1500.00 in funds until his merchandise was delivered. We do not gather any Banking information from any customer to allow any bank to draft any funds from any account on same as cash purchases. If I can be of any other assistance please let me know.
