Greenwich Court Apartments (GCA) explains the contractual details but does not address my question regarding the excessive fee of $for a medium cleaningThe determination of medium cleaning is a judgement call by GCA and a representative from the cleaning companyIn all my correspondence with GCA, the name of the cleaning company has yet to be namedIf I need to deal with the cleaning company about the $250fee for a medium cleaning, what is the name of that company? At this point, I feel like GCA is giving a runaround by not naming the cleaning company Regards, [redacted]

Review: The cost for 'Medium Cleaning' of an apartment is $250. Medium cleaning is described as: "general wipe-down of the entire apartment and bathroom, including floors, baseboards, light scouring of all sinks, fridge (inside and out), toilet." This is a 1200 sq ft living space and was cleaned and left in the condition it was found at the beginning of the lease. It takes about 90 minutes to do a medium cleaning by non-skilled workers. The $250 fee is excessive for the amount of time it takes to do the tasks described for a medium cleaning. The term "medium cleaning" is a term based on an arbitrary assessment by Greenwich Courts staff and the cleaning company. This allows Greenwich Court the flexibility to keep a percentage of the security deposit from the tenants. Greenwich Court staff should permit the tenant(s) to attend the end-of-lease inspection in the event there is a disagreement on the level of cleaning needed.Desired Settlement: A check written to each tenant (6) in the amount of $37.50.
