I am rejecting this response because: You say "Not sure what else we could have done.." It's quite simple You could have been honest and forthcoming in your evaluation of the car's conditionYou could/should have told me there was a chip in the windshield that had been previously repairedI am not looking to gouge or take advantage of your dealershipI am simply asking you to step up and do the right thingAt this point I would accept Greenwood to pay one half the cost of replacing the windshield and I will pay the other halfIt has to be replaced as it is now cracking.
Sincerely,

We did sell [redacted] a [redacted] on June 6th 2017. She did return next day where we reset a check engine light so she could get emissions done.At time of sale she was given a emission voucher and was told she had the three days to get emissions completed Once we reset the code/light we did not here...

back from her stating light came back on or that she took to get emissions done and that it failed. I think the first time she tried to get emissions done was Nov 17th.When she returned to Colorado she contacted me to see what was needed to get her car emissioned. When we sold her the car it had 116376 miles on it. On Nov 17th the car had 133608. She had driven car 17232 miles. At that point I did tell her she had the 3 days from time of sale to get emissioned or have us fix it to where it would pass. Since she waited 5 months and put 17232 miles on it I did tell here there was nothing I could do. I did offer to discount labor and pats at my cost. She left my office and I never heard back from her. Please give me a call if more info is needed.303 638 8189John S[redacted]

The vehicle that was sold was sold as is. The customer hired and paid an independent inspection company to inspect the [redacted] which the customer paid for. Not sure what else we could have done on a 9 plus year old. We where not given a copy of the inspection report. Customer did not indicate any problems with the car to us before it was loaded and shipped. I am available if more info is needed. [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: The facts remain. I called [redacted] (Pooler,GA) to inspect the chip/crack in the windshield. Mobile Technician [redacted] responded to Order #[redacted]. Upon a quick inspection he explained the chip/crack was previously repaired and there was nothing that could be done to save the windshield, ...His phone number is [redacted]. I asked Greenwood Automotive to inspect the car closely...("  Many of the questions pertained to the condition of the car.). Yet they still did not tell me the windshield was chipped or previously repaired. When I called I called after the purchase I was told they put gravel on the roads in winter in Colorado and window chips were common. They are not common here in SAV. I reject their response and still contend they did not represent the condition of the car in an honest manner. I should have been told about the windshield. And I still contend they should pay to have the windshield replaced.
Sincerely,

[redacted] contacted us with his reference to a 2006 [redacted] the end of September, being out of state he had some questions about the condition of the car. I answered his questions to the best of my ability. Many of the questions pertained to the condition of the car, during our conversation I...

told him that many of our customers especially those that are out of state have the car inspected by an independent inspector that has no interest in weather or not we sell a car. As I do with any of our customers we recommended [redacted].'s as they have done numerous inspections for both customers out of state and local and we have never had a complaint. [redacted] agreed that having the car inspected would be a good idea and he called [redacted].'s, the car was inspected on October 1, 2015. When the inspection was compete [redacted] and I spoke on the phone and he said that the car came through with flying colors and he wanted to move forward with the purchase and we did so. The car was then shipped to [redacted] in Georgia by a shipping company he choose my email show they were to pick it up on October 8. I remember speaking to [redacted] sometime in November when he called to follow up on the title work and he said the car was great and he was loving it! The next time I heard from [redacted] wasn't until just before Christmas when he called to tell me about the windshield and said we had misrepresented the car, and I asked him if this had been noted or brought up during the inspection from [redacted].'s? He said that the windshield was marked in good condition from [redacted].'s and I asked how we could misrepresent a car when a 3rd party inspector did not note a problem with the windshield? [redacted] also mentioned that he noticed it immediately when the car arrived and I asked if he noticed it then why he didn't call right away, but instead waited for two months to call? We tried to cover all of our bases by recommending that he have the car inspected which he did and neither us nor the inspector saw this crack that the customer is talking about and why did it take so long for him to call with a concern? I think we did everything in our power to prevent this unfortunate thing from happening.[redacted]
