*** *** applied on 2/15/and filled out a TAA
application, per the application stating your rental/criminal history, *** *** handwrote NONE in the box. On the
back of the TAA application, acknowledgment, it is written that:

statements on the first page of this application are true
and completeYou authorize us to verify your information through any means,
including consumer-reporting agencies and other rental-housing ownersYou acknowledge that you had an opportunity to review our rental-selection
criteria, which include reasons your application may be denied, such as
criminal history, credit history, current income, and rental historyYou
understand that if you do not meet our rental-selection criteria or if you fail
to answer any question or give information, we may reject the
application, retain all application fees, administrative fees, and deposits as
liquidated damages for our time and expense, and terminate your right of
occupancy
We
contacted *** *** on 2/16/by emailing the denial letter and phone call. He came to the office and we explained that
he had a rental collection on his credit report and that he would not get his
application fees back due to information on his application.
On
2/23/we received notice from our bank that the checks in the amount of $
and $were returned for stop payment.
His account was charged $per check leaving a balance of $
due.
On 2/25/
a final account statement was mailed to *** *** and on 3/2/his account
was sent to collections in the amount of $

received a phone call from *** *** on 5/20/asking about his account and
that he wanted to dispute the charges. I
explained that his file is in collections with National Credit Systems and once
a file is sent to our collections department he would have to contact them to dispute
and/or settle the account. He requested our corporates phone number and I gave it to him

I was on a month to month lease at prior complex and can prove it. So therefore I did not lie nor did I give false statements.  I also spoke with the collection agency in which greeenwood turned this in to and was told I needed to speak with the apartment complex manager not them. So again no resolve.
