Way to go Greenwood Memorial Lawn Cemetery!!!! Thanks for adding a little insult to injury to an already grieving family!
I put this up yesterday and it was taken off I will be placing this back on each day and also adding it to Yelp and complaining to the Revdex.com>

This is an email I sent on October 7, 2016:
"Date: Oct 7, 2016 10:32 AM
Subject: Re: You have a new message from the Revdex.com complaint [redacted].

Cc:
Thank you for keeping me in the loop on this investigation. I have not received anything else from Greenwood, nor Mr. David W[redacted], since September 28, 2016. I forwarded that email to your office. If it was not received please let me know. In the email, he said that the plots were correct and attached a "kindergarten style" map with my mother's plot drawn in with a pen and ruler.
Interestingly, he never mentioned anything about Greenwood's attempt to buy back both plots from me, for $500.00 each, in a letter dated August, 2016; the day after one of the two plots was already occupied.
There has been no resolution in this situation.
Thank you again for your attention."
Perhaps it did not go through?
Today, October 27, 2016, I have attached documentation regarding this case in the event that it was not received prior.
Pages #3 And #4 of the attached show the map that was provided. Page #5 of the attached shows the kind of map I would have expected (magnified to show the plots in question in proximity to my father's grave) from a large, professional cemetery. Please remember that Mr. Walker never addressed the issue in the original complaint regarding Greenwood's attempt to buy back two plots after, at least one of them, was already occupied. Page #1 shows the letter from Greenwood Memorial Lawn, dated August 26, 2016,(the day after Ms. Heier was buried in one of the plots in question) asking my mother to sign and have notarized a quitclaim release avowing that she is the owner of both plots. How can a cemetery ask to buy back a plot that is already full? How can they ask an elderly, dying woman to purjer herself by signing the document sent by Greenwood? This seems like shady, unprofessional and possibly illegal activity.
I am still requesting what I requested in the initial complaint. I want nothing more to do with this cemetery and I am asking for $3000.00 for one plot, which is the asking price in today's market for these lots. I also hope that the business practices of this cemetery are looked into carefully to protect our Arizona citizens from this type of treatment when their time of grief comes.
Thank you. @arizonaRevdex.com.org>

I want to warn everyone before using Greenwood cemetery for your loved one’s funeral needs. They will make the loss of your loved one even more difficult by taking advantage of people grieving. We have had the worst experience with Jesus and management at Greenwood cemetery during one of the most difficult times in our lives. This is a business in which their primary objective will always be to maximize profits at all cost necessary. After the unexpected passing of my brother we contacted Greenwood cemetery and they deceived us with hidden fees and service charges. They will intentionally lie to make a sale on items like gravestones, caskets, grave liners, transportation within cemetery just to make an extra profit. They will require loved ones to get extra unnecessary items like a bronze gravestone instead of granite because they can charge an extra 200 $ for “assembly”. The “memorial install” fee is 500$, which is a 18”x24” hole. Think twice before contacting Greenwood. Also, they are required by law to give you a breakdown of the fees before you sign any contract. They charge 700$ for a simple flat monument install, make sure you read the back of the long form contract.

Review: My Mother-in Law, [redacted], died in Idaho on August 30, 2012. Because her burial plot in AZ was already paid for in 1973/1976 with her son & husband's burial plots, I had her body prepared in Idaho, and then flown down to Phoenix, AZ to be buried at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery. My daughter (her grand daughter) & I flew to Phoenix on September 6, 2012 to attend it. [redacted] in Nampa, ID arranged all the details based on my Mother In Laws directions via a pre-paid funeral plan/insurance policy. This included $125 for placing the final date of death on the grave marker. While at the cemetery, we requested proof of the final date service be mailed to me. An employee, [redacted], agreed he would take a photo and email it to me as soon as it was completed. I sent him follow up emails on 2 separate occasions with no response received, and then asked [redacted] to intervene. To date, we have never received any proof. [redacted], director of [redacted] in Nampa, ID to followed up twice in Feb & March 2014, also with no success. I finally received a call from Greenwood (###-###-####) at 8:53 am MSTon 3/17/14 ([redacted] I believe) who advised she would email me a photo and took my email address. She was reluctant when I asked for a copy of the invoice to provide proof this was done, but did agree to email me a photo, although she said "Well, I don't know how I would do that". The service we received while attending attending the burial was very poor - the flowers that were ordered for the coffin were returned to the florist due to a mix up at the office, so we had no flowers at the service; the coffin set in the hot sun (102 degrees) for over 3 hours awaiting burial with no canopy cover; and we were kept waiting for over an hour for the burial, which the office admitted they did not realize family was attending. A very sad event was made a fiasco due to poor handling, even though Greenwood received a nice sum of money to take of her final wishes. I am filing a formal complaint hoping that this cemetery will make good on their contract to provide the service paid for.Desired Settlement: If the cemetery is unable to provide proof they placed the final death date on the grave marker, then I want our $125 back which was paid for this service, so I can hire someone else in Phoenix to complete the job.
