Greenworks by Shane Floral Reviews (2)

Thank you for taking the time to write to usOn behalf of Greenworks, appreciate the opportunity to clarify what transpired.First, I want to apologize for the stress and worry this issue may have caused my clientThis apology was conveyed to the client via email, text, in person and again over the
phoneAs the salesperson and main contact for this order and all wedding orders, I must reiterate that to have a disappointed client is never the outcome expect and that all my work is done to prevent exactly this. This is done by puting extreme care and attention to detail, in to each of my weddings, regardless of the size or budgetThis order was absolutely just as important as any otherI truly did everything in my power from start to finish, to make the client happy, as that is always my #goal! Thoroughout the planning proccess, I felt like my client and had a great rapport throughout our communication and am disapointed that we were unable to recify this issue, thus resulting in in this escalation. Here are the events that brought us to this current state. The bouquets and boutonnieres were made and delivered were as per the proposal agreement/contract that my client and arranged and approvedAs a floral vendor, our contract states that due to factors out of our control, we may need to use substitutions to ensure a quality product and we would not send out a wedding bouquet that was not a fresh product. The first bouquet was photographed and texted to the client at her request, and then was remade and re-photographed and texted, multiple times before it was sent out for deliveryUpon delivery, which was delayed due to the clients displeasure with the initial product, and our team having to rework the bouquet three more times in attempt to meet the clients evolving expectations.During this time, we went back and forth via text while my team and tailored to her complaints and demands for something betterOnly once had to leave for my other wedding that day, did we deliver the bouquet and boutonnierealerted my client that I would be next door setting up and would absolutely check in with her as soon as had finished.I went to the client's hotel room in the * Hotel in downtown Washington at her request, so she could tell me what was wrong with the bouquetI listened to her complaints, (which were numerous and particular) - too many greens, too much of one flower, not enough of another, holes in the petal, torn/brown petals and looked like leftoversShe was unhappy with the colors of the flowers that she Specifically requested which Mother Nature controls, not us and was outraged over several minisule holes found on an outer petal of a seasonal, locally grown flowerWe used only our best product that was ordered as per our contract, to fulfil this order.Dahlias, the flower requested, proposed and used; has petals that are fragile and tempermental by natureAs for color, the dahlia flower has a vast array of hues that can range from bronze, to white, to purpleHowever, many dahlias may also be bi colored, varigated, or separated into classifications of light or dark blends-the light blend being multiple shades of faint pastels, the dark blend being more muted. The overall look, style, components and individual blooms in the first bouquet were just as promised The photos provided to me, the sales person, were used as our guide and inspiration, just as planned The flowers I showed my client during the week leading up to the Saturday were used in the bouquet, but they ended up not being to the client's liking after she gave it more thought on her the day of her wedding/elopement.Regarding the client's cost and payment of $for the bridal bouquet, this cost is below our minimum price but she refused to pay more and we undestand that people can be on budget However, due to the labor intensity, time, and the meticulous creative process, bridal bouquets are priced appropriately, to start $ The client elected not to pay the minimum and requested the total products add up to $250, for the bouquet and boutonniere together. The client requested a full refund two days following the flower delivery which we were unable to grant due to the complete fulfillment of our promised responsibilitiesIn the event that the client had outright refused to accept her bouquet upon delivery, either time, this could be honoredUnfortunately not only did Greenworks execute the contract as written, but continued to attempt a total redesign using other flowers and elements several times overBy the time personally remade the bouquet for the client, it was the fourth time we had done thisAs a small business who relies on referrals, our clients' satisfaction is of the utmost importance to usHowever, by the time we remade the bouquet for the second and third time the order became a financial loss for us- which did not prevent us from continuing to offer a remake. Finally, please note that the client signed a contract (see attached) which explictly states substituion based on market conditions may be necessary (item J).Again, offer my sincerest apologies to the client and hope that this settles this unpleasant matterWe at Greenworks serve to make this part of the wedding planning process easy and enjoyable for our clients, and are sorry that this client was inexplicably unable to be mollifiedGreenworks did our absolute best on Saturday, Sept17th and ultimately stand by our work and the effort put forth.Warmest regards,Greenworks FloristMadeline P**

I am rejecting this response because:Greenworks is defending brown flowers with holes and poor customer serviceThis situation was handled by Greenworks unprofessionally, including where Madeline insulted my wife and her supervisor yelled at me on the phone and hung up on meThe business also never returned my call as promised to resolve thisIt was handled poorly over all, leaving my bride no choice on our wedding day but to accept what was leftover in their shop - browned flowers with holesIf the photos that were sent to us before the day of delivery were brown and had holes, I could have no complaint about qualitySee attached photos of what was promised and what was delivered.
Regards,
