Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:it still doesn’t change the fact that the work wasn’t actually completed and we yards won’t take responsibility for it and it’s absolutely clear that the have well thought out lines to give their clients when they don’t finish what they are supposed to excuses after excuses it doesn’t make up for poor service and customer supportAll I am asking for is ? reimbursementBut all I expect is not excuses? A lush, green lawn and weed free yard is an understandable and common desire for homeowners.? ? ? ? Each employee at WD Yards has the same desire for our own yardsWe understand the? ? ? ? frustration when that is compromised and we strive to help each of our over 3,customers? ? ? ? achieve the best possible results for their homes, from small xeroscaped areas to large HOA's.? ? ? Different types of weeds and grasses must be handled with the correct treatment and timing to? ? ? ? receive positive resultsSome are more easily treatable than others and unfortunately Bermuda? ? ? ? Grass is one of the more difficult onesIt can be drought tolerant and it thrives in heat which is? ? ? ? why it loves our Western Colorado desert summersThis is why it takes multiple treatments to? ? ? ? irradicate and because the seeds are in the air it can come back year after year.? ? ? We understand the homeowners frustration and apologize he did not get the immediate results he? ? ? ? was seekingThe recommended program of three to four sprays per year for three or so years? ? ? ? was not done therefore the Bermuda Grass remains.? ? ? The software we use, Real Green, is specific to our industry and is used both in the office and in? ? ? ? the field on hand-held devicesIt geocodes each address, provides directions via GPS, and date? ? ? ? and time stamps every service we provide and message or note that is added to accountsWe are? ? ? ? strictly regulated by the Colorado Department of Agriculture on what products can be used, how? ? ? ? they are used and how the information is recorded from amount to wind speed and temperature.? ? ? ? Real Green records all of this information and it is uploaded to the appropriate account daily.? ? ? According to these records for the homeowner's primary address the first treatment was? ? ? ? completed on May 30, from 11:AM to 12:PM with a confirmation call of the? ? ? ? appointment date on a voicemail message on May 23, at 12:PMWe agree we were? ? ? ? unable to spray the back yard due to a locked gate and then attempted two additional times to? ? ? ? complete without successThe second treatment was completed on June 16, from 11:19? ? ? ? AM to 11:AM with a confirmation call of the appointment date on a voicemail message on? ? ? ? June 15, at 9:AMThe second treatment included both front and back yardsNo further? ? ? ? services to continue the recommended program were completed due to a lack of payment for the? ? ? ? first and second application,? ? ? Payment is requested for services we provide within days of the service date, No payment? ? ? ? had been received by November 8, so both accounts (two separate properties) were turned? ? ? ? over to our collection company, American Profit RecoveryPayment in full was received on the? ? ? ? primary account when the homeowner called us and paid via a credit card on December 12, 2017? ? ? ? at 8:AMThe first complaint letter from the Revdex.com was also dated? ? ? ? December 12, with part of the desired outcome to be a refundThe other account for the? ? ? ? secondary property still has an outstanding balance.? ? ? We are here to provide a service to our customers by recommending and performing the best? ? ? ? programs and products for their specific needsWe do this, in part, by providing our technicians? ? ? ? with on-going training specific to our climate, adhering to laws, regulations and required? ? ? ? certifications and employing knowledgeable staff, like Will R [redacted] , with Master Gardner? ? ? ? certifications.? ? ? The customer in question originally hired us in for a Bermuda Grass treatmentHe was? ? ? ? told at the time that Bermuda Grass is particularly stubborn and requires three to four sprays per? ? ? ? ? year for three or so years to gain controlThe first treatment was performed on August 9, 2016? ? ? ? ? by our Landscape Maintenance Manager, Will R***No further treatments were performed? ? ? ? ? that year.? ? ? ? In we were once again hired for Bermuda Grass treatmentsThe first treatment was? ? ? ? performed on May 30, with a confirmation call and message left on May 23, at 12:32? ? ? ? ? PMDue to a locked gate to the back yard we were able to spray the front yard onlyPer Will's? ? ? ? ? instruction our scheduler, Megan, got in touch with the homeowner on May 31, at 10:44? ? ? ? ? AM and she was told the upcoming Friday would work best for himWill attempted again on? ? ? ? Friday, June 2nd as well as another day (that date is not specified in the account notes) and both? ? ? ? ? times the gate was locked.? ? ? ? The second treatment was completed on June 16, with a confirmation call and message left? ? ? ? ? on June 15, at 9:AMThe spray was performed by WillThis time the homeowner was? ? ? ? ? present and we were able to spray the front and back yardsWill and the homeowner discussed? ? ? ? ? the spray and noted evidence of the Bermuda Grass dying in areasThe homeowner was told,? ? ? ? ? once again, that the treatment takes three to four sprays per year for three or so years to gain? ? ? ? ? controlNo further sprays were completed in due to lack of payment.? ? ? ? Our Client Service Specialist, Megan, spoke with the homeowner on August 7, at 10:48? ? ? ? AM and she was told he would not payThe homeowner informed Megan we had sprayed twice? ? ? ? ? and it hasn't done a thing, in fact he thinks it has doubled in the time we sprayed itEric, who? ? ? ? ? provides estimates and lawn assessments, called and left a message on August 9, at 3:41? ? ? ? PM and explained the process for Bermuda Grass takes three to four sprays per year for three or? ? ? ? ? so years to gain controlUnfortunetly it is not an immediate result situationWe did perform the? ? ? ? ? service therefore the payment was due.? ? ? ? Statements are sent monthlyThis account indicates one was mailed around June 8th, July 12th,? ? ? ? ? August 4th, September 8th, October to and November 3TdNo payments were received up to? ? ? ? this point in and so the account was sent to collections on November 8,at 11:AM.? ? ? ? ? A message was left on our voicemail on Friday, November 17, at 5:PM regarding the? ? ? ? ? collections issue demanding a call back first thing Monday morningHe was extremely? ? ? ? disgruntled, used foul language, and said he would fight us to the bitter endHe did not receive a? ? ? ? ? call back this time.? ? ? ? The homeowner called us on December 12, at 8:AM and made payment in full on the? ? ? ? ? account in questionThere is still an outstanding balance for the same service on a separate? ? ? ? ? property where there is no complaint to our knowledgeHe is in collections for this account as? ? ? ? ? well.? ? ? ? At the time of each service an invoice was left indicating the chemicals and amounts used per the? ? ? ? ? Colorado Department of Agriculture rules and regulations.? ? ? ? Regarding other contact between our office and the homeowner there are no further notes to give? ? ? ? ? dates and times for proofIt is our practice to return customer calls as promptly as possibleWe? ? ? ? ? have over years of experience serving our community however we are not perfect and? ? ? ? ? mistakes do occurFeedback like this does help in discovering where we need to improve.? ? ? ? I am rejecting this response because:The service described in the response did not take placeNo action was taken to correct the poor customer service and the conduct of the business manager and staff was and I’m sure still is unsatisfactoryAction needs to be taken so this type of business behavior and service does not continueExample poor scheduling, untrue clams of access to property, poor attendance and not completing the job they were hired forI have a security system and I have 24hour recorded surveillance cameras on the entire property A picture is worth a thousand words.?
