I'm Gregory B.Hill writing in response to this customer's complaintThe time frame that I origanally stated was weeks, but as the project progressed the customer kept adding more jobs and more jobs that threw the timeline outThe customer's original post was months worth of work so after going over the contracts and agreeing, the customer knew it was going to be longer hence the customer knew that they were going to be adding things and failed to inform me of these before the signing of the contract which in turn delayed the finishAll windows are in properly and per common building practices for the specific framing in this project, in the beginning the customer regulated the time frame when they were home which in most cases was after noon or not at allWhich in turn delayed the progress which threw my other project time lines way backThe customer demanded so much of my time to the point l lost work over itThis project has been plagued with complications from the homeowner on how the framing was to be done regardless of what I informed them was the way to do itWhich after numerous harassment about it, I did it their way and was forced to remove any obligation to the framingAs far as "my"framing to the "original" print that the customer showed me has not failed inspection and is complete, the added framing that is almost done, is not on the print, which was the only failed framing of the job due to it was not approved on the blueprintThat is also an uncharged job aspect and informed the homeowner that it will be a problem and they should get an updated printWe argued about it and they wanted it done no matter what anyone said to themAs for the roof the customer harassed me so much that was forced to do it on a day that called for rainSo we did it in between downpours, The bubbles were a result of the little amount of moisture that got in, it does not decrease the integrity of the roof for shedding water or leakingCustomer was informed that if another contractor steps on that property or roof it will void all warrantiesWhich is what she did in this caseWhich I'm yet to receive a documented appraisal from a qualified manufacturing representative that the roof was done wrong or Incorrectly, The roof was done per common roofing practicesShe was informed that would finish it to the contract, which at this point is satisfied to the print and to the contract, plus added work that was done from the beginningA new permit and blueprint must be revised before any more work can be continued which she was told by the building inspector on July 5, 2016, with me present, had to be done before anymore workAs for the framing I have not received any documentation from the building inspector stating that the framing on the print failedThe only framing that "failed" was the extra framing that was not on the approved printThe floor in the framing which is in question, was done the way the homeowner wanted itI could not get through to the customer on how it should be doneThe floor alone held up the completion for over a month in itself, and in my opinion should have been done different from the very first bond plate that was installedI tried over and over again to explain to him and her why it wasn't going to work and still be able to level the floor properly and again arguments and degrading from the customerSo I did it their way and this is the result they gotHence the reason I had to remove any obligation and/or warranty on it which they signed a contract agreeing to the reason why there is no warrantyThe wood that she says is exposed has nothing to do with the roof and was an extra to begin withIt is an area that was preexisting and had nothing to do with what was hired to doThis customer was informed that I have no problem finishing this project and through numerous arguments over more free work that she wants done and refused, stating I've done enough over and beyond, she fired meAnd although she fired me | still will uphold my personal warranty of years on workmanship and years against leaks on the roof and years workmanship on the framing that is approved on blueprintThe added framing must be revised before can finish as per the building inspector stated aboveAs for payment the reason why the remainder is requested is because of a stop payment on a check that she gaveIt had nothing to do with needing food or gas, that's just another way for her to degrade my companyThe money issue has been an ongoing issue due to the numerous extras that she feels should be done free of chargeThe payment arrangement has changed to reflect the change in the Scope of the whole projectThe third reason for payment was she informed me she didn't have the money to pay me, Which in return delayed the job even moreThe trust is not there, Again I have not received any documentation from the building inspector stating any of the print framing failedThe permit has expired and needs to be revised also, which myself informed the customer, Gregory B, Hill would have no problem finishing and holding up my warranties on this property the job itself is a beautiful project which I am pleased to put my name on, as long as the rules and regulations of the city of reading are followedTo answer in regards to the people that were on the job they are family, we are a family owned and "operated" businessThe homeowners met our crew in the beginning and loved the fact that we were familyThey also approved of themThey are also all of age to legally workThe debri that is in question was from a wall that was taken out by the homeownerAll debri from our work was removed and disposed of per local and state guidelinesAny debri that was not a part of our work is not our responsibility to removeThe job site was cleared up everyday except in the Very beginning during demolition when the homeowner told me to not worry about it until all demo was done.Sincerely,Gregory BHill

I am rejecting this response because:I am rejecting this response because:MrGreg is not telling the truthAttached is the roof pictures showing large bubbles and there is no excuse for itI was at work and I know was pouring for about min he supposed to stop and wait to dry He is the contractor I hired and pay to do the right thing Of course I wanted the job done months I had enough keep begging for him to come to work If is needed I have all the communication what was done by texting and showing how many times I have to keep begging In months he worked days 4-hour a day I warn him that in months the permit expired and the job has to be finish I know that because every day he worked he wanted a check so I have all the checks I pay himI even gave them tip for unloading material I gave them food, coffee, water and soda I treat them humanly, nice as much I could or my time permitted.Nothing , absolutely nothing was done for free here.Warranty or not, rubber roof its not aloud to have large bubbles all over if it's done correctly.A rubber roof done properly should last 30-years as professionals says He warranty his work for years against leaking , so after years to replace everything? pictures shows the large bubbles I paid on the materiel alone $and Greg's installation $just for a small flat roof addition to the house.Siding it's poor done, he use to many small pieces even that I buy the material for all the jobs he was pay for labor only On one side roof is not flush because he forgot to cut that edge off leaving room for moistureAfter the roof was installed the first rain came it rain all over the interior ceiling and the floor because he forgot to put back the gutter.Siding sheets cut wrong and then used, otherwise I have no explanation why so many short cuts of sheets of siding when I provide the material, then siding left on the floor at the end of day , stepping on it and then used but never wiped off. Also wood left exposed for water damageHe said that wasn't his job but he was pay to do the siding and aluminum cappingFloor replaced by Greg is not level at all and that its because he did not use any of the different thickness of sheets I provided for him to use as underlay for the floor to make it level and as we wanted and the right way to be done Rather MrGreg because adding different sizes (Thickness)of sheets was too much work for him he just put the plywood didn't care if it's level or notOr he just forgot the underlay sheets are leaning on the wall I bet he did not use the level once Not only that doesn't look right but make it very difficult to add tiles or whatever material for finishingHe forgets very easy but then I have to pay the consequences. The framing its solid and that is because we buy material and all the house it's like over killed but that is the way we wanted Greg made it difficult to put sheet rock because of many studs sticking out as much of 1" Frame around the windows have huge gaps where you can see outsideAlso the bottom under the window supposed to be layers of x the way we wanted Greg put only one because takes more time to install.Foundation repair, he supposed to clean all the loose mortar between the stone foundation before he add new mortar Instead he put a young guy which never did that kind of job before to just covered it up to look like is doneNever put the bricks back but left them on the floor and the headers lays on the wood shims what he added instead of the bricks. The framing and stairs upfront very unprofessional doneAttached is the drawing showing the stairs He supposed to put the whole steel pipe column and welded at the top and bottom , instead he cut it up and installed under the framing poorly doneAll the ceiling supposed to be install with steel brackets He did not fallow the drawing specsbut worked from his head as he thought is right, The treated wood 2xon the bottom is installed right on the concrete not isolated with anything and not bolted down The framing it self is very poor The stairs unbelievable I could do a better job then he didAs a contractor I'm assuming that he supposed to know city codes that the platform starts with the door opening and not after a big step The way stairs are done city inspector failed it and must be redoneAll that material is a waste, he can have them and pay me for it.As per cleaning see your self pictures tells the truthI have my washer and dryer in there never bother to cover them or the sink, I spend hours cleaning in there by my self and still is not clean as it shouldThis is just a small example I have more to showAs per his family I don't care it is family business oriented They don't belong on people property to hung out all day using my bathroom in this case, and I have to clean after all his family Bad enough Greg's wife was on the site all the time when Greg was working here doing nothing just sitting around keeping them company and make me feel obligated to keep her company instead to do my daily routine job Her mom , daughter, daughter's boyfriend, friends of his or hers Do I wanted to meet them No , why? Why they even brought them here with no one else home? Once I found them here when I came from work I could not be rude and throw them out but I told them not to come anymoreThere answer was that they are family and have the right to comeIs my house an hotel or a bar to hung out with no one else home? Do I have to pay a contractor for hung it up with his family on my property?I work hours every day and instead to come home do what I needed to do I came home to keep his wife company clean and pick up nails from all over the place after them? All the time they worked left the area unsafe I have small grand kids which I have to babysit sometimes Was unsafe for them to come here and I told them that numerous timeGreg's crew is his young without any experienced sons a friend of their son and his wife the driver and that is the major issue here He told me he has crews of people to find out that was a lie as with his years of experienceLots of family problem also they even got lout on my property but apologized for itThey create problems between me and my husband He won't talk with me because of them, My husband kept telling them the way how he wanted and the way supposed to be done as the contract states " per the customer" but they ignored him all the timeMy husband told me to fire them then and because I did not listen to him he wont talk with me sinceThe stars feedback they have posted on [redacted] page I found out later that is all from family and none from a customerThey have other problems with other customers and city inspector put a stop job on the jobs they have also.Last check of $I gave them I did not supposed to give them nothing but Greg said he needed gas money in order to come to work the next dayThe next day was no show and that is why I sopped the check It's not degrading but pure and simple the truthI do not talk my financials with strangers so how they know about my situation? Do they search my house looking for stuff when no one was home? I never told them I have no money or I have money.I pay him every time he worked here even if I did not have too I beg them to come to work and they beg me for a check all the time I'm asking for to prove that I did not pay once for a day he worked I can prove how much money I paid them and date shows on the check So will be nice for them to come with the facts not lies. The drawing is in good stand , the stairs are on the drawing I have to take another permit for the stairs to be re-done because the permit expired at the end of June Greg did not finish the job In this case it doesn't even matter because the stairs are done wrong and has to come down and re-built A picture with the drawing for the stairs and upfront section attached. Why he says that if someone puts the foot on the roof or the property it will void all the warranties? I have the right to call a professional roofer, ask for an opinion The city inspector suggested to do that as they don't inspect roofs Also city inspector suggested to contact you and to pursue because the job could be done a lot betterCity inspector at the second visit told me to fire him but I told him I gave him too much money and I'm afraid of loosing the money and job not doneCity inspector has nothing to do with if a customer is satisfy or not more than give himself an opinion as a human been He is looking at the big picture and that is itWhy he is so afraid of other contractor to look at his job? Do I want in years to replace the roof No I want him to refund me the money for labor and material to pay another roofer to have it done the right way now.I asked him to take pictures of everything what he does and how he does it This way when nobody is home we can look at the pictures or videos and see how he did it His wife never leave the site and not doing anything else she could record step by steps and taking pictures. Why they did not do it because it will show how it wasn't done properly? With technology today and his wife here all the time doing nothing was a piece of cake to record every single step and that will eliminate all the problemsI will appreciate it if media comes out, a professional roofer or contractor can tell who is wrong or right and will put stop between us going back and fourth with this before I hire another contractor to repair and finish Greg's workI want my money back $it's reasonable at least to have the roof replaced I loose enough money on the other jobs not doneAlso you may contact the city inspector if you need to find more information[redacted] @ [redacted] .orgFor some reason I couldn't attached files MrGreg please provide facts not lies.Regards, [redacted]

I'm Gregory B.Hill writing in response to this customer's complaint. The time frame that I origanally stated was 4 weeks, but as the project progressed the customer kept adding more jobs and more jobs that threw the timeline out. The customer's original post was 3 months worth of work so after going...

over the contracts and agreeing, the customer knew it was going to be longer hence the customer knew that they were going to be adding things and failed to inform me of these before the signing of the contract which in turn delayed the finish. All windows are in properly and per common building practices for the specific framing in this project, in the beginning the customer regulated the time frame when they were home which in most cases was after 12 noon or not at all. Which in turn delayed the progress which threw my other project time lines way back. The customer demanded so much of my time to the point l lost work over it. This project has been plagued with complications from the homeowner on how the framing was to be done regardless of what I informed them was the way to do it. Which after numerous harassment about it, I did it their way and was forced to remove any obligation to the framing. As far as "my"framing to the "original" print that the customer showed me has not failed inspection and is complete, the added framing that is almost done, is not on the print, which was the only failed framing of the job due to it was not approved on the blueprint. That is also an uncharged job aspect and informed the homeowner that it will be a problem and they should get an updated print. We argued about it and they wanted it done no matter what anyone said to them. As for the roof the customer harassed me so much that was forced to do it on a day that called for rain. Customer was informed that if another contractor steps on that property or roof it will void all warranties. Which is what she did in this case. Which I'm yet to receive a documented appraisal from a qualified manufacturing representative that the roof was done wrong or Incorrectly, The roof was done per common roofing practices. She was informed that would finish it to the contract, which at this point is satisfied to the print and to the contract, plus added work that was done from the beginning. A new permit and blueprint must be revised before any more work can be continued which she was told by the building inspector on July 5, 2016, with me present, had to be done before anymore work. I am rejecting this response because:I am rejecting this response because:Mr. Greg is not telling the truthAttached is the roof pictures showing large bubbles and there is no excuse for it. I was at work and I know was pouring for about 15 min he supposed to stop and wait to dry He is the contractor I hired and pay to do the right thing Of course I wanted the job done 3 months I had enough keep begging for him to come to work If is needed I have all the communication what was done by texting and showing how many times I have to keep begging  In 3 months he worked 12 days 4-6 hour a day I warn him that in 3 months the permit expired and the job has to be finish I know that because every day he worked he wanted a check so I have all the checks I pay him. I even gave them tip for unloading material I gave them food, coffee, water and soda I treat them humanly, nice as much I could or my time permitted.Nothing , absolutely nothing was done for free here.Warranty or not, rubber roof its not aloud to have large bubbles all over if it's done correctly.A rubber roof done properly should last 30-50 years as professionals says He warranty his work for 2 years against leaking , so after 2 years to replace everything? pictures shows the large bubbles I paid on the materiel alone $1600 and Greg's installation $1450 just for a small flat roof addition to the house.Siding it's poor done, he use to many small pieces even that I buy the material for all the jobs he was pay for labor only.  On one side roof is not flush because he forgot to cut that edge off leaving room for moisture. After the roof was installed the first rain came it rain all over the interior ceiling and the floor because he forgot to put back the gutter.Siding sheets cut wrong and then used, otherwise I have no explanation why so many short cuts of sheets of siding when I provide the material, then siding left on the floor at the end of day , stepping on it and then used but never wiped off. Also wood left exposed for water damage. He said that wasn't his job but he was pay to do the siding and aluminum cappingFloor replaced by Greg is not level at all and that its because he did not use any of the different thickness of sheets I provided for him to use as underlay for the floor to make it level and as we wanted and the right way to be done  Rather Mr. Greg because adding different sizes (Thickness)of  sheets was too much work for him he just put the plywood didn't care if it's level or not. Or he just forgot the underlay sheets are leaning on the wall I bet he did not use the level once.  Not only that doesn't look right but make it very difficult to add tiles or whatever material for finishing. He forgets very easy but then I have to pay the consequences. The framing its  solid and that is because we buy material and all the house it's like over killed  but that is the way we wanted Greg made it difficult to put sheet rock because of many studs sticking out as much of 1"  Frame around the windows have huge gaps where you can see outside. Also the bottom under the window supposed to be 2 layers of 2 x 6 the way we wanted Greg put only one because 2 takes more time to install.Foundation repair, he supposed to clean all the loose mortar between the stone foundation before he add new mortar  Instead he put a young guy which never did that kind of job before to just covered it up to look  like is done. Never put the bricks back but left them on the floor and the headers lays on the wood shims what he added instead of the bricks. The framing and stairs upfront very unprofessional done. Attached is the drawing showing the stairs He supposed to put the whole steel pipe column and welded at the top and bottom , instead he cut it up and installed under the framing poorly done. All the ceiling supposed to be install with steel brackets  He did not fallow the drawing specs. but worked from his head as he thought is right,  The treated wood 2x8 on the bottom is installed right on the concrete not isolated with anything and not bolted down  The framing it self is very poor The stairs unbelievable I could do a better job then he did. As a contractor  I'm assuming that he supposed to know  city codes that the platform starts with the door opening and not after a big step  The way stairs are done city inspector failed it and must be redone. All that material is a waste,  he can have them and pay me for it.As per cleaning see your self pictures tells the truth. I have my washer and dryer in there never bother to cover them or the sink, I spend hours cleaning in there by my self and still is not clean as it should. This is just a small example I have more to show. As per his family I don't care it is family business oriented They don't belong on people property to hung out all day using my bathroom in this case,  and I have to clean after all his family.  Bad enough Greg's wife was on the site all the time when Greg was working here doing nothing just sitting around keeping them company and make me feel obligated to keep her company  instead to do my daily routine job  Her mom , daughter, daughter's boyfriend, friends of his or hers  Do I wanted to meet them No , why? Why they even brought them here with no one else home? Once I found them here when I came from work  I could not be rude and throw them out but I told them not to come anymore. There answer was that they are family and have the right to come. Is my house an hotel or a bar to hung out with no one else home? Do I have to pay a contractor for hung it up with his family on my property?I work 10 hours every day and instead to come home do what I needed to do I came home to keep his wife company clean and pick up nails from all over the place after them? All the time they worked left the area unsafe I have 3 small grand kids which I have to babysit sometimes Was unsafe for them to come here and I told them that numerous time. Greg's crew is his 2 young without any experienced sons a friend of their son and his wife the driver and that is the major issue here.  He told me he has 2 crews of people to find out that was a lie as with his 38 years of experience. Lots of family problem also they even got lout on my property but apologized for it. They create problems between me and my husband He won't talk with me because of them, My husband kept telling them the way how he wanted and the way supposed to be done as the contract states " per the customer" but they ignored him all the timeMy husband told me to fire them then and because I did not listen to him he wont talk with me since. The 5 stars feedback they have posted on [redacted] page I found out later that is all from family and none from a customer. They have other problems with other customers and city inspector put a stop job on the 2 jobs they have also.Last check of $150.00 I gave them I did not supposed to give them nothing but Greg said he needed gas money in order to come to work the next day. The next day was no show and that is why I sopped the check It's not degrading but pure and simple the truth. I do not talk my financials with strangers so how they know about my situation? Do they search my house looking for stuff when no one was home?
