that I just destroy the films and forget the order. Then he sent payment. Everything else he states in his complaint is fabrication. I was never informed that the dvd's were scratched, I never told him I would do them over for free, requiring reshipment, as we have a master copy here and can (and do) supply free replacement copies if damage has occurred.

This is where I asked him if I should just destroy the films.

The vendor failed to address the poor transfer quality in his response. He did admit to threatening to destroy original customer property held for ransom in lieu of just returning it for $10 in media mail postage. I want a refund less postage, as I have ordered from another, albeit more expensive, transfer vendor and I would not trust a business owner who threatens to destroy customer property. No way.
My contention stands.
