Business response taken over the phone: I have tried to work this out with the consumer but she will not let my workers fix the problem I have tried to get another company to do the work but everyone is booked If she wants this resolved soon she will have to let us fix it

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.When they arrived at our home, they were not prepared to rectify the problemThey were simply going to tack up what was hanging looseThey had no parts to replace missing pieces, etcIt was my wife, ***, who was at home, and frankly she is beyond fwith the business' total disregard of their warranty promise. They arrived at our home unprepared at 5:pm on Monday evening, September 28thAs they were unprepared to do the work, due to the lateness of the afternoon and the weather conditions, *** instructed them to take pictures of the missing pieces, hanging metal, and shoddy work, and gave them one of the dislodged pieces to match, as they did not have the materials on hand to replace themShe was given a business card with telephone numbers of the installers (which was not Greg's Custom Exteriors) and was promised to be contacted by Friday, October 4th with an estimated time of repairsThe installers had left equipment behind at the time of the initial installation and it was returned to the individuals who were here on the 28thThey have not contacted either of us.That has been the only time they have been here with the guise of addressing the issues. I sent them another certified letter stating that if repairs were not made by October 8th, I will be at the Monroe County Courthouse on October 9th to file a suit against the companyTherefore, his response of being here three times to fix the problem is totally false. I also contacted the Home Builder's Association of Rochester on September 25th and spoke with *** * advised her of our situation with Greg's Custom Exteriors, hoping to gain insight of how to rectify this situationShe stated she would contact the business and get back with meI spoke with her on Thursday, October 1stShe knew of the happenings of September 28th, and told me Greg's would be here this week (the week of 10/5)I assured her that the workers would not be interrupted, and that I would not interfere until I was told they were complete, at which time I will examine their work, and photograph the results

I simply requested to be here when the workers came, but also told him that the work needs to be done as soon as possible whether anyone was home or not
