After the vehicle was towed to our shop the customer's insurance took few days to come and make the estimate, once the estimate was done and approved the next step is to tear down to see if the insurance is paying in full or only what the adjuster was able to see without removing parts, we found several extra damages that we had to send a supplement to insurance and wait until they comeback and approve the extra damages witch they did few days later, When all was approved and ready to work, we performed the job but there was another issue the parts (headlights)that the insurance company authorized and directed to buy were wrong, of course they looked alike with the right ones but wrong at the end ( we order the parts based in the year make and model and software used , also based on the instructions given from the insurance in where to get the parts) well, these lights were wrong and we now had to order from dealer (out of stock special order from a different state), we have to send pictures and proof the insurance about this issue before they authorize these parts so more days passed before that happened, when the body work was all done or the all the car repaired at it's 100% the car wouldn't start (this type of vehicle is very sensitive) We had to make an appointment with the dealership witch takes few days before the can look at the car and finally was done and deliveredWe of course would like to apologize the customer because it took a long time to complete this process, we would love to use original parts from the dealer from day one but the insurance companies would pay only for used or aftermarket parts if availableWe would like you to know that try our best to get the jobs done as soon as possible to get cars moving and get paid sooner but there are few times that even we try our best it is not in our hands to accomplish goals as we expect specialty when insurance companies are involved and we need approvals for just anythingWe would do anything possible to make this right and please the customerThank you
