In October I used this venue for my weddingThe place is beautiful and the service was great until we leftI put a $damage deposit down which *** keptI inquired about the refund as the contract stated "will be returned" and was told that we stayed over to long so they are keeping the "damage" depositAfter asking several times for my refund back Mr*** became very unprofessional and ended by saying he would contact my employer and report to them that I was contacting them trying to get my money backThis money was to be used on our honeymoon but was never returnedI was threatened by Mr*** that he would countersue me if I went ahead with a lawsuit and then said that my photographer got there early and wanted to look around the groundsMr*** said that he had to pay a staff member to walk the photographer around the grounds prior to the weddingI asked the photographer who is a friend of mine about this and he was asked by employees if he wanted to look aroundBe careful using this place, it is beautiful but you will most likely not get your "damage" deposit back
