To Whom It May Concern: In reply to the complaint filed by *** *** *** Originally we replaced her Air Compressor because her A/C was blowing hot airWe suggested a used part for a cost savings which is standard practiceWe charged her the quoted rate of $for the part, however, as
with any repair, there was labor and taxWhen she called saying there was a leak, we immediately had her come in and addressed the issue replacing a broken sealWe did not charge her for any labor, just a minimal charge for the partThe same day we received this letter in the mail, she had contacted us about having further issues with leakingUntil then, we had not heard from her or realized she was dissatisfied with the service she had receivedNot even knowing about her complaint, we told her to come in and we would figure out what was causing the issueThe water leak that was causing the issue (moldy carpet, smell) was not related to the A/C compressor repairThe A/C drain vents were clogged causing the fluid to drain into the car which was not part of the original fixHowever, we did discover that the compressor we had just replaced had crackedWe then replaced that part at no charge to the customerWe also fan dried the interior carpet to insure there were no more problemsIf we had known she was dissatisfied with the service she received, we would have addressed it immediatelyGreg talked to the customer personally and asked her if there are any further issues or she has any questions, please do not hesitate to call himAt this point, the customer has picked up her vehicle and we are satisfied all issues have been resolvedThank you for your time
