We just moved to Abbotsford and hired Gregg Electric for a small job for renovating our kitchen. We were not entirely happy with the service we received from Gregg. We went with Gregg Electric as they indicated they would let us know up front the approximate time/cost involved in the work we wished to have done. When they arrived they neglected to do this, later the Secretary phoned to tell us the job was not going to take two hours like intended and he ended up being there all day. Also they now needed permits. We paid them $700 only to find out after they left (end of day on Friday) we couldn't go on to the next step in our reno because we had to wait for an inspector to come see the work they did which wouldn't be until Tuesday (probably). So we were behind another 3 days. Also we realized he didn't finish the job we asked him to do so we had to get them back on Monday morning. He was an hour late for the appt. We had to phone to find out if he was coming as he didn't give us a call to say he was running late. Also he left a mess both times, not cleaning up all the degree after he worked and leaving it all over the floor. I believe when you do a job you need to clean up after yourself. Also he needed to go into the attic several times. The work he did there, he also left insulation out of place. He didn't put the insulation back in place after he worked. Had my husband not needed to go into the attic for another reason he wouldn't have known our insulation was out of place. I say the customer service and courtesy of the workers is sloppy and not as would be expected when you read about them on their webpage. We need more work done soon and will be looking elsewhere for different electricians as we weren't happy with the service we received from Gregg Electric.
