Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
[Hello Thank you for responding to my complaintThe statements made by Gregory G*** in reference to showing me some sort of kindness, favors, and price breaks are untrueThey charged me what they charge everyone else in the neighborhood, they are in business to make a profitSecondly, they failed to mention the fact that they never had the glasses on the day promisedThird they failed to mention the day they told me that I already picked up my glasses the day before, I went to the store immediately and they said that there was another Mr W***, I challenge you to ask them to produce that receiptAlso, I was going to refer all the clients at my job to GGO, but after the first week of the days it took to get my glasses, I have done the opposite, none of my clients will be referred to GGOAdditionally, both the writer of the stores response and her mother, told me that we never discussed transition lenses and only progressiveWhen the lenses arrived the second time, they where both shocked to see that the transition was put inI had another pair of new glasses and originally I was going to let GO do the work, of course after this experience I have changed my mindLastly, I I asked Eliza to please write down my prescription, she took the glasses to the machine and wrote down the numbers on a piece of paper, which I have, in her hand writing--x+--×is wrongMy prescription is --×+--×Thank you
In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above

On 5/**/2016, [redacted] came into our optical and brought in a pair of broken (at the bridge) rimless glasses that are his own frame. [redacted] asked for the glasses to be repaired and for a progressive prescription to be placed into his glasses. I immediately advised [redacted] that a rimless...

frame is a very gentile frame and we are not responsible if anything occurs with it since we did not sell this frame to him. [redacted] advised me that he got this frame from a friend that sold him the frame and he wanted to use it. I offered [redacted] one of our frames that comes with a 1 year warranty in case something happens with the glasses but he declined the offer. The cost of a progressive prescription in our optical is $150. The cost of drilling for [redacted]'s rimless frame is $35.00. The cost of transition lenses is $99 and the cost of the nose bridge repair is $40.00. [redacted] stated that he is not able to pay the prices and asked if we can give him a discount. I felt sorry for [redacted] and decided to help him out since we are a Family owned neighborhood optical and are located in [redacted] where some of our customers do not have enough money to pay for their glasses. We are not a corporate store and try to help our patients as much as we can since we love the community we live in. I did not charge [redacted] for the transition lenses for the sun and I also did not charge [redacted] for the additional cost of drilling the frame. I discounted his price by $135.00. In addition, instead of paying $150 for the progressive, [redacted] paid $100, which is an additional discount of $50.00. The total discount given to [redacted] was $185.00 which we had to pay for out of our own pocket. I made [redacted]'s case an exception and I really wanted to help him out. The glasses were sent to the lab immediately and were returned to us with the correct prescription in place but with a broken bridge since it had broken upon inspection of the glasses in the lab. [redacted] was very upset that it had broken again but I had reminded him that I had advised him that this was his own frame and we were not responsible for anything that occurred with it. [redacted] had asked if he had to pay for the repair and I had advised him that he had to, since these were his glasses that needed to be repaired. But that cost was already in his total cost of $140.00 and nothing extra would be charged. To help him once again, I took apart a rimless frame from my own stock and sent in the nose bridge back to the lab so it can be replaced once again. I could have sold this frame to another customer but chose to once again help [redacted] and suffer the cost. Once again, I had paid for drilling for the second time and did not ask [redacted] to pay for this. In 3 business days, the frame was returned to us fixed and ready for pickup. [redacted] picked up the frame, was able to both read and see distance wonderfully. His transitions worked immediately and he was very happy with his lenses. [redacted] thanked me for everything I had done for him and stated he will refer his work friends to us since he loved his experience with our optical. This is the primary reason why I am so shocked to read that a complaint has been filed against me. Following the receipt of this letter from the Revdex.com, I had called [redacted] and he had explained to me that he filed this complaint prior to receiving the glasses but that he would gladly remit his accusations and will contact the Revdex.com personally to withdraw his complaint. As of now, I have not received any update in regards to this situation, but hope it can be resolved quickly. I have done everything in my power to help [redacted] resolve his situation and had incurred a total cost of $225 out of my own pocket to insure his happiness. I am in profound shock that my heartfelt gest ure is appreciated in such a horrible way.
