I am kind of confused to say the least when I met this home owner he had a electric dog door that he purchased and he wanted to put it in the middle of his sliding door tempered glass doorI told him that it cant be doneyou can not cut tempered glassHe didn't want the door just to have a piece of plywood I finely thought of Plexiglas but I knew it had to at least 1/thick to withstand the force of the dog doorthe customer was informed that I was working full time in gig harbor that if he wanted it done anytime soon it would have to be at night and there was the first problem they both worked at nightthe second problem was that the dog door was made to be screwed into wood and the two sides the screw holes did not line up and I could not find a screw that would anchor into Plexiglas I took it to the shop with the thought of using airline adhesive on itDuring that time I had afamily member rushed to the hospital in a coma and on life support I offered to come out twice but that did not fit their schedule and when they wanted me to come out my schedule was full the dog door was done the weekend that I was supposed to finily install the door I had been injured on other job and could barely walk I called them and told them and said they could come and pick up the door that all he had to do was remove the glass (which I had shown him how to do) and install the plexoglas with the dog door insideand yes there was a 1/inch crack but it was covered by the dog door and couldnnot be seenI did not charge them any money not for my time in having to go and pick up the Plexiglas nor for the extra material to mount the dog door to the glas and at all times I kept them informed by texts
