Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]I never received an invoice from this business until 4 months after the service which then had months of added fees. I will not pay fees and interest which were never billed until 4 months after the service. If the business will not stand behind the statements of his employee that warranty should cover the service he should have contacted me in a timely fashion. I would pay the original $94.95 for cleaning the heat sensor which was not replaced but will not be scammed for additional fees. The paperwork sent to me by this business actually supports my timeline.

Our company sends out statements the first week of every month and I personally review each statement that is being sent out. Mr. [redacted] did contact us once the late fees and interest started compounding and he was instructed at that time that a dirty flame sensor is due to lack of maintenance and is...

NEVER, EVER covered under warranty. I explained to him that he could call 1,000 other heating companies and they would tell him the exact same thing. I also told him that if he paid the original amount of $94.95 that we would waive all late fees and service charges. He refused and told me that he was calling his lawyer. We have now started the collection process on his account due to non payment of service rendered. A lien will be placed on his home if we do not receive payment in full; including late fees, interest and collection fees. Thank you,[redacted]General ManagerComplete Comfort Heating & Cooling

In response I could not respond to statements that I never received, the first statement after the work was preformed arrived on Sept. 2nd. which was four months after the work was completed. As far as a total lack of maintenance this is untrue perhaps you should talk to your employee that was here that day about the conversation on the warranty.  You never sent me an offer to drop the fees and interest. I certainly need any offer in writing. If you want to try to litigate a bogus claim that is your decision and may be why you have a D- better business rating. You also never contacted me after I talked to  your collection company and they said they would urge you to contact me to reach a settlement.

Review: On 2-03-2011 I purchased an new everrest furnace with a 10 year parts and labor warranty from this company. On 4-23-2015 they came on a service call and cleaned the flame sensor. I showed the employee my warranty and employee said that should cover the service. I said if any problem have owner contact me. I never heard from the company until Sept. 3, 2015 with a bill for replacing the part which was not replaced and 4 months of late fees and finance charges for a total of $262.69. The invoice has no phone no. I finally was able to contact the owner and could get no satisfaction. He gave no explanation for not honoring the warranty or why he suddenly is trying to collect now $398.21 after never having contacted me in a timely fashion and waited 4 months to decide not to honor the warranty. This business has other complaints and the owner claimed disability it seems to be operated only on a part time basis and is very difficult to contact. This is no way to run a reputable business.Desired Settlement: explanation for not honoring the warranty after no contact for 4 months and suddenly sending an invoice with hundreds of dollars of interest and penalty charges after employee said was covered under warranty. I received no bills from April until Sept. 3, 2015. Billing adjustment needed.

Response:

Review: We entered into a one year maintenance contract 9/5/13 for 114-113th St. home. We sold our home on 10/21/13 prior to having the first of two inspections done. I called to notify Schnaare's on 3 separate occasions to let them know that we no longer owned the home and therefore would not be needing their services. On the first call I was told that Jason Schnaare would call me back to confirm that I would receive my money back ($189.90). I never received a phone call. The second call I was told that the refund would be issued and a check sent to me. On the third call, I was assured that I would receive the refund and again gave them our address to which to mail the check. The last call was late November early December. Todate we have not received our check.Desired Settlement: I am very disappointed in the ball being dropped on this refund. I would, in addition to a refund, appreciate an apology for the delay in receiving it.
