Review: When the reservation was made it was advised that if we ate in their restaurant we would be credited $20. We did not receive said credit. I mentioned to the person at the front desk during check out and told it would be taken care of. Once I noticed no credit was applied to my account I emailed requesting credit with no response. Also, we did not have hot water to take a shower which resulted in an early checkout.Desired Settlement: All I want is $20 credit as promised and some compensation due to not having hot water.

Ms. [redacted] called on Dec 30, 2013 to make her reservation. She booked one of our finest rooms, and dinner reservation in our dining room for Dec 31, 2013. She was informed that the menu was “a la carte” Holiday menu.

She was very excited to be able to book a reservation as we were nearly sold out for New Year’s Eve! Our restaurant does not honor any coupon on holidays.

Before entering the dining room for dinner Ms. [redacted] requested a power cord for her room. She requested the cord be given to her personally after dinner as she did not want maintenance in her room.

The following morning upon checking out Ms. [redacted] mentioned that she did not have ample hot water and could not take a shower. The front desk receptionist expressed her sincere apology and wished we had been made aware of her inconvenience. Ms. [redacted] was offered complimentary Brunch. She replied that she was in a hurry to return home. At this time she also stated that the Tiffany floor lamp near her bed was broken. She did not want to be charged for the damage which she said was not caused by her. The receptionist was stunned. The Tiffany floor lamp was valuable and could not have been overlooked by housekeeping and left in the room prior to her arrival.

The following day our reservation desk received an email (attached) stating a very different case. Ms. [redacted] requested a $20.00 credit on her bill because she believes another guest had received one.

She was offered complimentary brunch but refused it . We would have been able to help our customer obtain hot water if we had been notified (if hot

water was not attainable in her room, a neighboring clean room could have been offered for her use). We have graciously overlooked the expense of the Tiffany floor lamp.

At this time we would like to ensure Ms. [redacted] return by offering a $20.00 discount towards a future hotel stay.
