Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: nobody ever told us that sizes were limited on sizes of skates and as I explained I was not the only one having this same problem that nightI myself paid for the tickets and nobody ever told us they might not have sizesThis was my daughter's birthday moneyAnd he said if it were one kid and not five that he would give a pass for another time nothing about a ticket I would appreciate a full refund of my daughter's money when they know they are in the wrong. We at Gresham Skate World do recall this situation on the 27th of November. I would like to clarify a couple of issues within this complaint. First, once we run out a skates we make it a point of emphasis to inform each customer coming in that sizes are limited, and that we can not do cash refunds....

I need to also make clear that our session fee is for admission into the building, and that the only customers we do not charge are spectating parents and children under 3 years of age who are not skating. Every one who enters for any amount of time is charged for the session whether they skate or not. The policy is in place to protect us from people loitering on the property. We do understand that the daughter was wanting to skate. That was the reason I offered free admission passes for another time. However, In order for me to give those; I needed the admission/skate rental ticket. When I asked the mother for them, she said that they did not have the tickets. The tickets act similar to a receipt and we only take the ticket if they exchange it for skates. Unfortunately, we have had many customers try and take advantage of us, and get passes after they have already skated. I would also like to clarify that we never spoke with the daughter except for when she was at the ticket window. I spoke directly with the mother about refunds and only the mother was involved with that discussion. The reason I offered them 1 skate pass is because after informing the mother I needed tickets she came back inside with one ticket. We never laughed at the daughter or the mother at any point in time. Hopefully this information has helped you understand our no refund policy, and why we were not able to give you what you demanded.
 
As a side point I would like to make clear that the 5 kids were inside the building from the time of paying to time of complaint for more than an hr and during the conversation with the mother she said she lived over a half hour away and said that she made it all the way back home and then drove back to the rink for pick up.
