Review: In April I purchased a [redacted] Deal for Greystone Manor Bed and Breakfast. The deal was for any room, a gift basket with a Growler and other items, and a Horse/Buggy ride for $171.00. On the cerificate, it stated "Promotional Value expries 7/31" but paid valid expired 4/26/2018. I believe it was June, I called and spoke to [redacted] to find out if the room had to be booked by 7/31/2013 or if I had to actual use the voucher by staying at the bed and breakfast by 7/31/2013. [redacted] said it just had to be booked and I could do this via their website. On July 11th, I tried to book the room but nothing was available. I emailed Greystone and [redacted] responded with the dates of July 16th, 17th and 18th. I responded back to her, stating that did not work but I had the end of August and all of September available. I never heard back from her. I then booked the room for August 30th via their website on July 25th. I spoke with [redacted] twice, the first time to ask where I put the voucher number on the website. The second time I called after booking the room via the website to see if I could add on a tour that was offered during the booking process. [redacted] asked what the date was and then explained that they could not book the tour at that time as they did not know which homes/farms would be participating but I could do it at time of check in. I explained this was purchased as a girft for a friend and wanted everything paid for prior to arriving. I did ask her if the reservation went through ok, she asked what room I booked and confirmed it was good. On the 30th prior to getting ready to leave, I called at approximately 9:30am, to see what time check in was and they could not find my reservation. I was asked for my confirmation number and explained I spoke to [redacted] but never got a confirmation number. Needless to say they could not find the reservation. I told [redacted] we both took work off and hired a sitter for our dog. She did not try to rectify the situation just said that they were booked. She said I should have received the cancellation notice via email that the room did not reserve. I told her I received nothing, she then sent me an email dated 8/30 stating it was not accepted but could not provide me an original email from the date the room was initially booked. She asked if I would like to rebook which I could not at that time due to work schedules but would contact her back. I wrote an email to the manager of Greystone and again [redacted] replied that possible there was an issue with the website, apologized and said she would give me a "free buggy ride $24 value". I told her that was part of my package through [redacted]. She said the Buggy Ride and Basket were a promotional value that expired. I then reminded her of the conversation I had with her concerning the dates whether you had to just book the room or if you had to actually stay during that time. Again I got nowhere. She went on to mention that possibly the reservation did not go through because they have a 2 night minimum. I told her it did not state that on their website, on the voucher nor did she tell me that when I spoke to her to confirm the reservation. She said she would wave the 2 night minimum. I called her and reserved the room for October 19th, the only time she had available. I booked room #3 again (not my first choice) and asked if she needed the voucher number or any other information. She said no just to bring it when we checked in. Upon check in, she advised that we owed another $57.60 for the difference between the voucher and the room, I told her how disappointed I was and explained that the voucher said Voucher for a O n e -Nigh t S ta y for Two in Any Room, (taken directly from the voucher) again she said it was the promotional value but we had until 2018 to use it if we wanted to come back. After a 4 hour drive, and all the hassle of this whole ordeal and all she could say was we could come back. Needless to say, we paid the difference. The room did not have proper ventilation in the bathroom, causing mold above the window area. We killed 2 stink bugs and it was uncomfortably hot for sleeping.Desired Settlement: I would like the difference of $57.60 and the gift basket.

I am rejecting this response because: I purposely called Greystone Manor to clarify whether the "Promotional Date" was a stay by date or if it just had to be booked by that date and [redacted] advised it just had to be booked by that date. It does not state in the paragraph whether it's a stay by or book by expiration.
