[redacted] contacted Gridiron Guys to inform them that he had damage to his roof from what he thought was wind damage. Gridiron Guys promptly sent a service tech to assess the damages. The technician thought that it was obviously damage created by someone or something. The photos clearly show mechanical... damages. Gridiron Guys provided a quote to fix the damages. The owner of Gridiron Guys offered to get an engineer or the police involved to try to find out what or who created the damages. [redacted] did not agree and hired his own inspector. Gridiron Guys once again offered to meet the inspector onsite to assess the roof. The inspector told the customer that he thought the issue was due to faulty material. Gridiron Guys contacted the manufacturer and met the local rep onsite to inspect the roof. The manufacturers rep offered to start a claim to see if the material was indeed defective. [redacted] needs to simply provide the manufacturer with the filled out paperwork and a sample of the shingle in order to the claim process initiated. The rep explained this to the customerGridiron Guys pride themselves on customer service and we also take pride in the way the situation was handled. We have spent a great deal of time on this free of charge to try to help the customer. This complaint should be directed to the manufacturer due to the fact that it is not related to the service of Gridiron Guys. Thanks!

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me

I am rejecting this response because:The owner suggested I find and engineer or file a police report not offering to get an engineer. They also did not offer to meet with the inspector onsite to assess the roof. Lastly they told my Dad someone would be out to remove two faulty shingles but I had to hire a roofer to remove the shingles in order for me to file the claim.
