This couldn't be further from the truth [redacted] put a dollar deposit on a dollar [redacted] trade in van said that she would bring the rest of the balance in three weeks, three months later she finally paid the balance, after we gave her another off She refused to pay tax, threw a complete fit about it She than finally paid the balance, walked out the door lost all her paper work in minutes, accused us of taking it from her, than called when she found it in her house She called the sheriffs department over a ABS light that was on when she bought the car, than bragged about how she was selling it for a dollar profit Some of these problems are legit but that's why the van was dollars, the tires didn't go bald over night, nor did it run itself out of gas, this is the way she bought it Another pathological liar, beyond dishonest, complete con artist uses the system to the max This is a old [redacted] van with a Billion miles on it for 3K, what do you expect to get? She is not the broke lady she says, has a new [redacted] pickup truck, don't believe a word she writes [redacted] *

The Factory color from Toyota was decoded by the vin #and listed on the website with many pictures, the dollar deposit was collected in person when they viewed the vehicle in person, there will no refund CASE CLOSED

I am rejecting this response because: My issue isn't because the dealer does not feel like returning the deposit because of the colorMy issue is that they kept the earnest money without telling me it was not refundableThey also did not give me a receipt, nor did we have a sales contract signedI was also not approved for the loan to purchase the car anywayI believe legally in the state of Colorado if I am denied a loan, earnest money has to be refundedIf not, their license to sell used cars could be in jeopardy. I have a denial letter from my bank, as well as the business card that the owner used to give to me as a "receipt" that I paid a deposit. I would like to avoid costly court and time that will be needed to go to courtBut again, if seller does not wish to abide by Colorado state law, I will take him to small claims court and request not only the earnest money, but the damages/court fees therein; cost to travel to Colorado for court, hire an attorney, etc
Sincerely,

This couldn't be further from the truth.  [redacted] put a 400 dollar deposit on a 3000 dollar 1995 [redacted] trade in van said that she would bring the rest of the balance in three weeks, three months later she finally paid the balance, after we gave her another 500 off.  She refused to pay tax,...

threw a complete fit about it.   She than finally paid the balance, walked out the door lost all her paper work in 3 minutes, accused us of taking it from her, than called when she found it in her house.  She called the sheriffs department over a ABS light that was on when she bought the car,  than bragged about how she was selling it for a 1500 dollar profit.  Some of these problems are legit but that's why the van was 3000 dollars, the tires didn't go bald over night, nor did it run itself out of gas, this is the way she bought it.  Another pathological liar, beyond dishonest, complete con artist uses the system to the max.  This is a old [redacted] van with a Billion miles on it for 3K, what do you expect to get?   She is not the broke lady she says, has a new [redacted] pickup truck, don't believe a word she writes. [redacted]

We held this vehicle for over two weeks, they flew out and looked at the vehicle in person, loved it, and left a deposit check, than a few days later they some how came up with the conclusion the vehicle wasn't silver.  The factory color from Toyota states Thunder Cloud, it's silver as can be,...

there's 14 pictures on the web, they looked at it in person.  We never keep deposits, after being lied to several times, continuously pushing the sale back, and losing several customers we kept the deposit.  This is by far the most ridiculous complaint we have ever had to respond to.  This is also the first time we kept a deposit.  Nothing these people say could be considered truthful.  We will not be refunding anything, had they been honest this would have never happened.  I told them from day 1 if I hold the vehicle for two weeks I need a non refundable deposit for 500 dollars, don't blame the color of the car it's not chameleon, it didn't magically change colors, it's the same as on the web and as you saw in person.   I suspect there was other reason for not buying the car but I can assure you it has nothing to do with the color, how we represented the vehicle or the condition.  This matter is closed to us.  [redacted]
