Alleysa Allen called *** Motors-Buda WedJune 24th and informed me, *** ***, her vehicle’s alternator was no longer working and the vehicle could not be driven. The vehicle was in the Subway parking lot in Austin, Texas. I explained that the car was at risk of
being impounded and that *** Motors-Buda could tow it to Buda in order to determine the problem. *** Motors-Buda does repair customer’s vehicles at a reduced rate at an agreed upon amount. June 25th, Thursday, I informed *** ***, the cost to repair the car was $plus $charge for towing. Total $320.00. The account was placed in Repossession status because the partial payment for May was past due and the June payment was past due as well. I explained to *** *** her account would have to be brought current. Also I would need $to be paid before the repair work would be started and the balance of $could be paid when she picked up the repaired vehicle. *** *** did not pay any of her payments. After careful consideration of the risk factors concerning this account, *** Motors-Buda has called the remaining balance due. The balance would have to be paid in order for the vehicle to be redeemed as per the contract page 3, paragraph 15. Thank you in advance for your consideration*** *** Account Manager *** Motors-Buda *** *** ***

If they knew it wasn’t going to fix it the first time then why redo it? And the check engine light was on and pressure poor because they put the wrong filter on it The second time only told me needed a cam sensor If put all new lifters and cam and cam sensor in it then why is it still messing up? $worth

Again, Customer came in with a engine miss. Diagnosed as a lifter bad, taking out the camshaft. Advised to not fix the engine because of excessive miles (231534). Customer decides to replace camshaft and lifters on 10/27/17. On 3/13/customer comes back in with a Check engine light at mile 244,802. Diagnosed as a cam sensor out of range. Replace cam sensor. Upon further testing, engine is not making enough oil pressure to activate cam phaser, causing the cam sensor to give a reading out of range. Again tell customer that engine is bad.Customer was advised not to fix engine. Vehicle traveled 13,miles before second problem, and second problem is not a result from the first. We do not do the regular maintenance (oil/filter), per vehicle history, so no opportunity to put wrong oil filter on vehicle. Dealership did what was asked, even though advised differently. No duplicate repair was preformed. No wrong filter was installed

by Mr.[redacted].Mr. [redacted] came into the service department 12/17/15 to replace the intakemanifold on his 2007 Jeep Patriot. The vehicle had 143,124 miles on it. Wereplaced the manifold as he requested. Mr. [redacted] then returned with his Jeep on12/21/15 with a fuel leak concern. Our technician found the fuel line to fuel railconnector had separated. Further inspection found that the clip was not securelyfitted due to age. The technician was able to reconnect the fitting but advisedthat the entire fuel line may need to be replace to avoid future leaks. The ServiceManager and Service Advisor both informed Mr. [redacted] about the diagnosis andalso took him out to his Jeep and showed him the connector that had been foundloose. What happened with his Jeep after he left our service department isunknown to us because we did not see what repair he had completed at anotherfacility. With the age and mileage of the vehicle along with the ill-fitting clip onthe fuel line, we cannot be certain when the fuel line leak started. Therefore wewill refund Mr. [redacted] the $80 he is requesting.

Review: I had to get my Exhaust manifold replaced. I had to take it there due to a TS bulliton for jeeps, so my normal mechanic couldn't do it. After 700 bucks, I get my jeep home the next day. I smell gas/exhaust...think "ok...I got a new part on...it will smell for a day". Two days later I keep noticing a gas smell, then it got Really bad..I drove it for a short distance and I stalled. I ran out of gas, which was odd because on Friday I had 1/4 tank and didn't go anywhere. Triple A came and gave me gas but I noticed it was leaking from engine..so I gottowed me home. I noticed under my jeep I had a river of GAS flowing out of it and my engine was smoking ( due to gas hitting things). I had my jeep then towed to Griffin Motors because obviously they did something wrong, no car would get a huge leak like that all of a sudden. SO they take a look at it and say "It's a coincidence that this just happened, it wasn't their fault, I need two new fuel lines and it would cost me 500-600 including labor. They insisted it wasn't their fault and my lines were bad. I went up there, and had my jeep towed to my normal mechanic....and they had told me that Grifflin LIED to me, that they didn't place the lines back correctly, and the leaks were right UNDER the exhaust manifold. It cost me 80 bucks to get my issue fixed from them. 80. I paid 80 bucks to fix an error from Griffin Motors...who wanted to charge me up to 600 bucks to fix a problem THEY created. I could of died from an explosion. So anyone in meadville area...do NOT take your car to Griffin Motors. I placed a call to the area manager and of course he has not returned my call, but I will be like a rash until I get heard.Desired Settlement: I would like for them to pay me the 80 dollars that I had to pay a REPUTABLE mechanic to fix their problem. They lied to me, caused a huge issue that could of had me killed in an explosion.
