I had gotten quotes from different hardwood floor companies ,the quote that they gave me was very reasonable and the work was absolutely excellent the workmanship and quality of the floor cannot be beat. I would highly recommend this company and I will absolutely use them again for carpet, hardwood floors,and tile work. This company really is impressive of the quality and the workmanship that they do.You do not find quality work with very many companies at all, you might get a cheaper price but you certainly won’t get the quality

The installers schedule numerous appts. and don't show up or call. The carpet installers were to install defective carpeting (whole house) July 28, 2014/8am. No show. Over the last few weeks, they were also to repair squeaky hardwood floors under our home warranty. This is the 4th time they have scheduled and have not shown up. They don't call. We just wait like we have nothing else to do. When questioned they say, "there wasn't time, someone was sick, or some other excuse. My whole house is now torn up (clothing out of closets, everything off surfaces, beds unmade) in preparation for the carpet replacement (also under warranty). After trying to deal with [redacted] rescheduling numerous times, taking days off work, rearranging our schedules when they don't show up after 4 times, it's enough and we deserve monetary compensation.Desired SettlementThey were charging for us to upgrade the carpet padding and I feel that it's fair for them to compensate us that same amount for this inconvenience. Business Response /[redacted]/We are greatly sorry that Mr. [redacted] had a couple of missed appointments. One appointment was missed when our installer ran over on time from another job, and then another appointment canceled due to a sick installer. The last appointment that Mr. [redacted] is referring to was discussed with one of our installers while he was in Mr. [redacted] home and a return time was discussed with the installer to return the following day to complete work. That appointment was never called into our office for scheduling by the homeowner, so unfortunately we were unaware of the discussion to return and therefore a work order was never created for our installers to return. Mr. [redacted] expressed that he is satisfied with the repair work that was done in his home, and we certainly apologize for any inconvenience that he incurred. Unfortunately when we purchased the carpet from our manufacturer that Mr. [redacted] selected for his new home, we were unaware that it was defective until we received notification from Mr. [redacted]. We submitted claims to the manufacturer who reimbursed us for the carpet, but we were never compensated for the removal of the existing carpet, the labor to move the entire house of furniture, or for the installation of the new carpet. Griffin Wake unfortunately lost quite a bit of money due to these unforeseeable circumstances. We did offer Mr. [redacted] a $200 discount for the 2 missed appointments, but he was not satisfied with that and left a remaining balance of $482.65, which still has not been paid.
