29" we began installation.After the installation was complete we received payment and had no reason to believe anything Was WrongApproximately nine months later *** *** called me to inform me that there was a problem with the inset dots - they were too thin and did not sit right in the floorI got samples of the dot and the tile and determined that this was the caseI called the distributor to get replacement tile, only to find out that the tile had been discontinuedOver the next several months contacted every resource I could in an attempt to find this product but was unsuccessfulI also attempted to find a suitable replacement for the tile but *** *** didn't care for any of the substitute optionsAfter several months I was able to get replacement tile for the original floor - the distributor was able to pull from numerous distribution centers and finally was able to satisfy the customer.The tile is in our possession awaiting installationOn Friday, June I spoke to *** *** and the tile installer to begin the scheduling process.Bruce W***,Sales Associate

I am rejecting this response because: Monthly installments were made over an month periodPayment wasn't made after work was completeI had talked to Doug the installer and he told me that maybe the tile dots were too thinI compared the left over dots with dots used on a previous floor install of my master bathroomThe left over dots are thinner than the dots used on the master bedroom floorSame ID numbers and measurement sizes are marked on the boxes that they came inI notified Bruce and showed him the dotsHe said that they were defective and that they no longer do business with that distributor. Many times he said that he would call me to arrange install but he never would get back to meI always had to call himHe said that he had exhausted all optionsI brought in a similar floor tile printout on paper with blue dots from a web siteHe said that he could use it and would get right on itI never heard back from himOnce Doug the installer was schedualed to come to my house to redo the floorHe went to Griffin flooring to get the flooring materialIt wasnt there for him to pick upWhen I got home that Monday the floor had not been taken care ofNo one even called me to give me an expalinationI called the next day Bruce said that the distributor dosent make them anymore.Im still waiting to hear from doug on an install dateIts been days since I heard from him

The monthly payments being referred to is our financing The financing is a form of payment that's the same as cash, so once the job is completed the financing is processed and the job is considered paid in full.The dots are indeed defective, that was never being disputed The issue arose because of two factors The tile and dot combination was discontinued by the distributor in the nine month period in between the floor being installed and the issue being brought to our attention I never mentioned that we were n longer doing business with the distributor, only that the tile has been discontinued I may not have communicated as well as I could have, but I did make every attempt to find a suitable resolution to the problem, which ultimately did happen as I stated in my first reply The tile is in our possession, and myself am still waiting for a response from the installer
