Mrs. [redacted] has never applied for a loan at Griffins Auto Sales, her husband Mr. [redacted] did apply for a vehicle loan on 03/30/2015. When Mr. [redacted] applied for the loan I advised him that the vehicle he picked out, 2007 [redacted], still had to be serviced and inspected. I also advised...
him that I could not guarantee the date the vehicle would be ready because when a vehicle is being prepared for inspection we never know what replacement part will be needed or how quickly we are able to get the part shipped to us. He said he understood and I set him up with a tentative appointment for 04/03/2015 at 2p.m. I requested that Mr. [redacted] call after 2p.m. on 04/01/2015 to verify the status of the vehicle.Mrs. [redacted] called the morning of 04/02/2015 to see if the vehicle was ready at this time she was advised that we would need a few more days. Mrs. [redacted] then became belligerent with the secretary. Mrs. [redacted] also stated she wanted the deal cancelled because they could not wait because they had plans for the weekend and she hung up. Mrs. [redacted] called our office again asking about the vehicle. The secretary explained that if they were not able to wait for us to properly service and inspect the vehicle, we understand if he needed to go elsewhere.
When I came into work later that morning I called Mr. [redacted] to explain what was going on. Mrs. [redacted] returned my called and promptly apologized for how she had treated the secretary. At this time I explained again that the vehicle was not ready and we could not put the vehicle out without it properly being inspected. Mrs. [redacted] then became belligerent with me and I advised her that I would need to speak with Mr. [redacted] and I disconnected the call.
Later that day Mr. [redacted] returned call and I advised him of the status of the vehicle as I did with Mrs. [redacted]. I asked him to let me know by the end of the to wait for the vehicle to be completed. Mr. [redacted] never called to advise us if he did or did not want the vehicle. I assumed he went elsewhere to purchase a vehicle.
