Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to respond to complaint ID# *** about our hotel We at the Holiday Inn Resort Waikiki Beachcomber were very sorry to hear that one of our guests did not have an enjoyable experiencePlease extend our sincere apologies to him for the noise

the *** *** *** *** and the *** *** *** (***)The *** revitalization project had been going on for Y years and was winding down for its August 25th grand openingDuring the project, we and the developers met regularly to minimize the impact to our guests During the final weeks,the incoming*** tenants in their rush to meet the opening deadline
chose to exceed the maximum permissible sound levels and hoursTo make matters worse, contractors working on the *** *** shop across the street from our hotel also chose
to do loud construction noise beyond the permissible hoursOur management team and I addressed both violations immediately by contacting our security, *** and *** security and the Honolulu Police Department In addition,we contacted the ***owner's representative for *** ***, *** management and the State Department of Health Noise Section SupervisorThe damage; however,was already done and our guests suffered loss of sleep and a poor experience while in Hawaii.It was very unfortunate that our guest did not bring his complaint to one of our managers We would have liked the opportunity to speak to him and offer an agreeable solution In regards to the room he reserved, I researched his reservation and found that he booked a partial ocean view room and received a complimentary upgrade to an ocean view roomOur property is located across the street from the beach, so we do not offer ocean front rooms.We would greatly appreciate a chance to make things right, so please have him contact us at *** *
Appreciate the acknowledgement of the nuisance caused during the stay. As a result, how will they compensate me for this disturbance? Points? Refund? Free nights? I do not see any mentions of that besides an apology which doesn't solve the problem at hand and what my family had to face.
