Thank you for your letter dated April 13th, in regard to a complaint received from one of ourformer customersThis came to my attention last week and on Friday, April 17th, I contacted thecustomer, drove to the customer's place of business and hand delivered a check for the prorata refunddue
in accordance with his initial request for policy cancellation in November 2014.The agent, Mr***, that was cited in the letter, performed his duty by making a cancellationrequest on the day he initally spoke with the customerAgain, in February, when the client called again,Mr*** again requested the cancellation, previously sent in accordance with agency protocols.The procedures for cancellation were not followed internally by other staff in order to get the policycancelled in a timely fashionWe have addressed this with staff and do not anticipate further problemsor instances.The client has received the appropriate refund and appeared satisfied at our meeting on Friday, April17thHe also indicated he would contact us in the future for coverage.I sincerely thank you for bringing this to my attention so that I could address and correct the complaint.If you require any other information, please feel free to contact me at ###-###-####.Sincere regards,Christy BrownOwner
