Review: On 11/18/2015 around 11 a.m., I noticed water damge on our living room/Hallway wall in our home.Upon calling Griswold (###-###-####), I was informed that a repairman would be sent out to inspect and or repair the roof problem ASAP. Two numbers were left for the field repairman to call (###-###-#### or ###-###-#### cell phone #s). On Friday the 20th,2015 another call was made. to inform Griswold that contact had not been made. Upon inspection by my spouse, it was determined that the leak was on the East side of the house under the area where the panels were installed. Contract date is 7/18/2012. New roof was installed 8/2009. A roofing screw holding down a portion of the solar panel framework was visible from the attic and water was dripping during rain periods . The water damge is directly under that leak. Negligence in the panel mounting framework is almost as irresponsible as the failure to contact us on rectifying this problem. I was called Monday (5 days after the initial call) around mid moring by a repaiman. I informed him that we were on a vacation trip to Ohio and would be back on Sunday and to call us onMonday11/30/2015 to let us know if he could come by then. He said no problem. We received no call. Griswold was called again and again ( phone records can attest to this) and as of today, no response has ben received. A Plastic tub was placed under the area where the leak originated and currently still leaks. This company leaves a lot to be desired. The Leak if left unrepaired will get worse. The Damage done to our interior wall is clearly the fault of the Griswold Installation crew.Desired Settlement: We would like the solar panel repair crew to come and inspect the installation, correct the spot and repair the roof where the water is originating. Our contract says that insurance would be held on our solar panels by Sader Power who was representing Griswold Power, therefore we would like financial consideration for repairing the interior wall that was damaged. Please use this letter as our intent to cancel the complaint we filed on Friday,12/4/2015 involving Griswold Power LLc. The leak problem was fixed the next day Sat. 12/5/2015 to our satisfaction and the problem and damage has been resolved. We better understand the company's intent and have witnessed first hand their desire to resolve issues.
