Grogg's is working diligently with me now to correct the problem with the heating system I only said that the furnace was too small for the house because I had two other HVAC tech's come look at it and tell me that is what was wrong *** informed me just last Friday, March 7, that their tech's were in agreement that there was not enough air return or something of that nature *** said that he would fix the problem and I will be completely satisfied once the problem is fixed, however as of today, Tuesday, March 11, I have not heard from Grogg's *** in the office stated Friday that *** would contact me Monday and tell me exactly how the issue was going to be resolved, at that time I said that would be fine All I want is my furnace fixed so it operates properly and once I get that I will have no complaint with Grogg's It just seems like every time they are here they blame the problem on something different, just fix it, PLEASE! I chose Grogg's at the time I installed the new furnace because I had been told they had an excellent reputation and I in no way want to tarnish that, I just want it fixed

We installed a *** 60,BTU furnace for *** ***
on May 20th, 2013. The original furnace that was in the home was an
80,BTU; however, the existing duct work was not large enough for an 80,
BTU furnace. Also, based on the square
footage of the home, the home does not
require a furnace larger than 60,BTU. So, I disagree with the accusation
that the furnace is improperly sized. The first time that we were called out
after the installation was on November 15th, 2013. The complaint was
that the home was not heating evenly. The Service Technician found that the
thermostat was reading two degrees off from the average temperature of the rest
of the home; the technician adjusted the thermostat and left. We did not hear
from Mr*** until February 27th, and the complaint was
that the furnace shuts down and they reset the furnace, and then it works fine.
The technician went to the home and found his air filter was dirty and may be
restricting enough air to cause it to go out on high temperature limit. He then
called back on March 3rd, and was cursing at our Secretary that
it was not working again. She then transferred him to me and he continued to
curse and yell. I explained to him that I was here to help him and I would
appreciate it if he did not use that type of language. I stressed to him that
my goal was to help solve his problem and resolve the issue to his
satisfaction. We immediately dispatched a technician to his home; however, he
filed a complaint before our technician arrived to his home. I do not feel that
our company was given a fair chance to resolve the issue prior to him filing the
complaint. Upon completion of the technicians evaluation, it was found that the
furnace is NOT to small to heat the home, however, there is an issue. The
existing air conditioning coil’s design was causing the furnace to “hold” heat
around the high limit switch. Although this was an unforeseen issue, we have
agreed to return and install a transition piece to separate the furnace and the
coil. I would also like to note that this past winter was the coldest winter
that we have had since the 1970’s, with temperature well below zero for multiple
days, and Mr*** did not call our office concerning the operation of his
furnace. I have admitted that a problem exist and we believe that we have
proposed the resolution to this problem. We have also agreed to do this at no
additional cost to our client. However, the furnace is properly sized for his
home
