We have never been accused of stealing in our over years of service to the CommunityThis is a most unsettling thing to read aboutIt would, of course, be so very helpful to know the exact details of the transaction as we will delineate in the followingThe complaint states that the parties involved went to Groove at 10pm on the date indicated and bought beers at $eachThis is impossible as, although we do provide $beers, they are for Happy Hour only which ends at 8pm Sunday through Thursday and 7pm on Friday and SaturdayAfter those hours the computer system automatically changes the prices to the standard Menu prices which are $6, $7, $and up for specialty beers and cannot be altered by our Staff in any way whatsoeverIf these guests did, indeed, come in during Happy Hour instead of at 10pm then they would have received $prices on select beers during that timeAgain, it would be helpful to have exact details instead of groundless accusationsOur POS (Point of Sale) system does, however, combine prices when items that are on the Happy Hour menu are purchased both before and after Happy HourWhat this means is that, if you purchase a Beer which is normally $7, but is now $during Happy Hour, and then buy more after Happy Hour has expired you will then see on your check the following: Beers at $each ($price plus $price divided by the number of beers total)This may be the source of the guests' confusionAgain, actual real data would be better than calling our trustworthy and loyal Staff thievesOf course we never would want anyone to feel that they were cheated and, should this person come back to visit us we would appreciate a "heads up" before they come in so that we may best address the alleged complaint

We have never been accused of stealing in our over 18 years of service to the Community. This is a most unsettling thing to read about. It would, of course, be so very helpful to know the exact details of the transaction as we will delineate in the following. The complaint states that the parties...

involved went to Groove at 10pm on the date indicated and bought 4 beers at $4 each. This is impossible as, although we do provide $4 beers, they are for Happy Hour only which ends at 8pm Sunday through Thursday and 7pm on Friday and Saturday. After those hours the computer system automatically changes the prices to the standard Menu prices which are $6, $7, $8 and up for specialty beers and cannot be altered by our Staff in any way whatsoever. If these guests did, indeed, come in during Happy Hour instead of at 10pm then they would have received $4 prices on select beers during that time. Again, it would be helpful to have exact details instead of groundless accusations. Our POS (Point of Sale) system does, however, combine prices when items that are on the Happy Hour menu are purchased both before and after Happy Hour. What this means is that, if you purchase a Beer which is normally $7, but is now $4 during Happy Hour, and then buy 1 more after Happy Hour has expired you will then see on your check the following: 2 Beers at $5.50 each ($4 price plus $7 price divided by the number of beers total). This may be the source of the guests' confusion. Again, actual real data would be better than calling our trustworthy and loyal Staff thieves. Of course we never would want anyone to feel that they were cheated and, should this person come back to visit us we would appreciate a "heads up" before they come in so that we may best address the alleged complaint.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

The only confusion is on the part of the management of the Groove. The transaction # on my receipt is [redacted], the server was Kat. I arrived at the establishment at 7 pm for Happy Hour on Tuesday October **, 2015. The sign in front had the Happy Hour prices for beers marked very clearly at $4 and when I sat down at the bar and ordered a Corona again that price was clearly marked at $4.  We left at 9:59 pm as clearly marked on the receipt. So to blame a Point of Sale computer system that you purchased and are using at your establishment with prices that still do not justify me being overcharged during happy hour shows a lack of leadership.  It's your responsibility and the people you employ to ensure that charges are accurate before handing them off to customers.  Because as a customer not doing so leads me to question the integrity of your business and your practices.I would like to receive a refund on the overcharge amount of $5 If you can't address a customer's concerns sincerely this will certainly be the last time I come there and others do need to be made aware.
