Review: My daughter is disabled and is on SSI, and she has Kaiser and MediCal. Kaiser sent an authorization to Grossman Imaging for spinal MRI's. She went to the Ventura imaging center on 12/14/13. The receptionist INSISTED that she pay $275 as a "down payment", even though they had the Kaiser authorization and her MediCal card. She obviously did not have this, so I gave my credit card and they charged this amount. Kaiser has paid them in full, and says that my daughter's financial responsibility to Grossman is zero. Kaiser says Grossman should not have charged her. My daughter has called Grossman's billing dept. many times and they say they will send a check for $275, but it has been 3 months and they have not. She wrote a letter, but they have not responded. If you have health insurance, do not pre-pay--you will never get it back after your insurance pays.Desired Settlement: Grossman must refund the $275 since Kaiser paid their bill in full. There was no co-pay.

Review: I received an MRI in November of 2013 and did not receive any communication from Grossman until last Friday, February 27. I received a call from Grossman telling me I owed them a balance after insurance and threatened to send the bill to collection if I didn't pay it immediately. I asked for the billing manager but was routed to email several times during the day. I finally reached her (Jenealle) this morning only to find out that Grossman had a computer system change that went awry and that they were not able to send bills for over a year. She claimed that bills had been sent to me in December of 2014 and January of 2015 but I did not receive them. I have requested proof that my insurance companies were properly billed but have not yet received that information.Desired Settlement: Since I gave Grossman a credit card to avoid having the matter go to collection, I would like the charge to my credit card reversed.
