Review: Please review enclose "cut &paste " documents six of us were confirmed conformation [redacted], respectively .WE paid $9000.00& tips for the ramos wedding & were guoted $75.00 per night per person [redacted] . the manager did nothing upon amval stated rooms are gone [redacted] helped get up "apt 16c"huors later [redacted] THANK YOU.all so why they charges two different rates for the same room per night.My Wife has M.S. has problem walking.Desired Settlement: A refund for over charging per rooms ,per night

Good Afternoon

I am follwing up with you at the request of my Human Resource Director. . She has Identified that the Revdex.com is still showing a "No reposnse " from the hotel regarding this complaint. I would like this indication changed as a result of this email and would be grateful for your oversight in doing so.

Here are some of the facts related to this case .

All hotel guests are required to sign a registration card at check in. The registration card has pertinent information regarding the guest's overnight stay which the guest is required to acknowledge and agree to by signing the registration card before room keys are issued .. These procedures are mandatory and must be complied with legally. Therefore all parties related to Mr [redacted] were aware of the rate prior to check Inn .

Mr [redacted] is making a dangerous and totally inaccurate claim that the hotel cut a pasted his signature showing that he signed for all rooms in question . That accusation is wildly baseless and without merit. The fact s show that we did have Mr Deleon's signature which would be a clear indication of his initial acceptance of all terms.

When Mr [redacted] attempted to charge back teh amounts through his bank, our owner provided enough quantifiable information to the bank showing that Mr [redacted]s reasoning for a chargeback was baseless and the hotel followed all applicable procedures with respect to the credit charges that were warranted.

Our rates vary with roomtypes

It also appears that the parties with different last names may have also not identified themselves as members of the rooms assigned to the [redacted] Block.

Procedurally we were compliant. We did not turn anyone away . We were able to provide accomodations . As a matter of fact they were upgraded at a reduced rate.

The key points here lie in teh fact that there was opportunity to question rates at check in and that process did not happen. It's an unfortunate occurance for all parties . We did take extra steps to avoid the unpleasantries that would accompany not being able to accomodate them at all . At the nend of teh day we did do something.

Please be sure that nothing in the content of this complaint indicates that there were bad business practices on behalf of the Groton Inn and Suites or any members of it's staff .

We would appreciate efforts to remove our "No responce " indication on behalf of the hotel and thank you in advance for doingso

Review: On August 8, 2013 I met with [redacted] at Groton Inn & Suites and put on a hold deposit (check # 91) for an Engagement party for my daughter to have on October 26, 2013. I explained to her that I did not have the money in the bank at that time as it was a new account and had two other places to look at before deciding and she explained that it would not be deposited and she would hold it until I got back to her with the final agreement. I did not sign any documents other than giving her a check to hold that date and I was issued a receipt. I also explained to her that I had other functions there including a wedding for my other daughter and was concerned with the property condition as it seemed that it was let go and very dirty. She explained that it was under new ownership and was going to be reconditioned.Later that day I found a very nice hall and booked and signed to have the party at that facility. I called [redacted] the next day to let her know that I was not taking their facility and to return my check, and she said that the girl in accounting was not there and was certain my check was in the office safe and it would be returned to me. A few days later I found out that the check I gave them was deposited into my bank and was returned as I did not have the funds in my account to cover it as I explained, and was charged $29.50. I immediately called Groton Inn & Suites as I was very upset and was concerned as this was a new account and no one was available to talk with me, so I left a voicemail for someone to return my call. I did not receive a call back, but only to find out that my check was re-deposited for a second time charging me another fee (2x $29) I immediately went to my bank and explained to them the situation and they suggested to put a stop payment on the check as it could keep coming through, which I did and was charged $15.00. Groton Inn & Suites then charged me $20.00 because my check was returned to them. About a week later I called Groton Inn & Suites andDesired Settlement: All charges equal to $94.00
