water drain was not properly installed due to which there is standing water in my yard.[redacted] the person I signed the contract never finishes the job to my satisfaction.He never install a water drain under the patio walkway due to which the rain water have no place to go and when its rain it stand there for days.When he come back to fix it to put a catch basin it was not properly place and the water still can't drain.My repeated call and txt result in no response.He never return my call and by this date don't want to resolve this issue.Desired Settlement[redacted] have to come back and intall proper drain or redesign it so that water can drain out from the yard when its rain.Business Response /[redacted]/This was an issue I advised him of before the project started. He didn't want to pay for it. when it became an issue weeks after we had completed the project, which they were very happy with, he wanted us to fix again. I advised him of our original conversation and that he didn't want to pay for it, but with my time and money tried to fix with a large drain basin. Again he was happy and again I advised him this may not be enough to handle heavy rain. I said to run over a XX-XXX' of pipe and drainage would be a project they needed and could have paid for in the beginning but chose not to. He wants it done at no cost to him. I have had multiple conversations with him face to face and have given him options and solutions. He thinks we need to fix at our cost. If he had let us install back in the beginning as advised this would have been a no issue. Now something I advised him on before we started the project, he chose to not do because it would add cost to the project, and is now telling me I should fix. We have gone back twice to try to remedy this issue, at our cost for both labor and materials. But he still wants a larger project done, and I told him to do something to that scale its going to be a job he needs to pay for. Now he clearly doesn't want us to go back, which I would not anyway, because it now becomes a legal issue if we go back and he says we damaged something, etc.Consumer Response /[redacted]/The response [redacted] is writing is not what he discuss with me.First he never design that drain under the walkway and never discuss with me.after the project was completed he realize that.After sending repeated pic of standing water he finally came up with drain basin and the way he install that was very unprofessional and it cannot handle the water discharge so the problem was never resolved.He never responded my txt nor he responded my email.He never gave me anything in writing about the third drain he totally miss that part of the project and now is coming up that he discuss with me.He can show me the project design in which he discuss that I have everything in writing and also the exchange of txt and picture I send him.Regards,[redacted]
