On 12/9/client purchased luxury vinyl tileWe performed the services professionally & walked away from a happy clientClient
then contacted us again 8/2014, telling us that her water heater had dumped gal of water on her kitchen floor & substraightThe 2nd time the client made a claim w/ insurance coWe removed all the flooring & repaired substraight to the best of our capabilityOur team removed all water damaged subfloor, cabinets, and treated floor with mold resistant products ensuring no festering of moldWe explained at that time, that the joist system could experience water swelling, which is out of the scope of our expertiseWe were given the green light to move forwardUpon completion of flooring the 2nd time, we again walked away with a client happy with services renderedIt was at this time we explained to client that due to change in substriaght, she would need to replace her kitchen 'rolling' chairs which she agreed to
The client called us again on 10/2014, telling us she was unhappy with the color variation of the new kitchen floorWe explained that the dye lot from original order would be slightly different than the new replacement flooringSo what we did to satisfy her was sent our crew back out, at our company's expense and unplanked the existing floor, and replanked it using boxes of the same vinyl flooring left over from the original purchaseThe crew tied in the new pieces and stratigically placed flooring to make the color variation more appealing for our clientOur client began to show signs of unhappiness of her flooring purchaseSo to ensure our clients satisfaction of her flooring, we placed a claim to the manufacturerThe manufacturer warrantied the purchase of the floorWe sent out a crew to replace flooring for the 3rd time, at our company's own expense! We noticed at that time, the client still had not replaced her 'rolling' chairs, & explained that the warranty clearly states that warranty of the flooring will be void due to the rollers on the chairsClient again stated she understoodUpon completion of the flooring the 3rd time, we again walked away with a happy client satisfied with a professional job
In closing, we sent an independant flooring inspector to inspect the job and find out why the flooring was separatingThere were two things on the report, which is available to the client and the public to seeThe 1st reason was due to the fact that the distribution of weight from over sized people using 'rolling' chairs was causing the flooring to separate under the kitchen tableThe 2nd reason the floors were separating was due to the water heater dumping EIGHTY GALLONS of water on her floorThe insurance company had already replaced the flooring once, we replaced the flooring once, and the manufacturer replaced once againClearly, we have made every effort to ensure our clients were happy & satisfied with their flooring purchaseIf client refuses to comply with the warranty specifications, the problem is out of our handsWe have many, many pictures of the jobs performed for this client, insurance claim, the manufacturers report and receipts with dates proving flooring was replaced three separate times to ensure professional servicesDespite all of our work and efforts, customer and customer's family members began to call personal cell phone numbers out of business hoursThey have been unrealistic of the damage left by their faulty water heater, and are looking for someone to blame for all the problems they are experiencing from this unfortunate incidentAs a business owner, I have exhausted all avenues of making this problem go awayWe have lost money, valuable time, and most importantly an unsatisfied customer
