She then said, "So can you drop off the $refund?" I am rejecting this response because: He is Lying about the price of the work, it was $ to clear the snow, that night, and I paid him for the next day in advance, after he told me we were getting more snow overnight We would never pay $for snow removal of our small shared drivewayWe have always hired someone to do this for us in the past, and have never been charged more than $ He should stop lying, and ripping people off I hope that other people see that he is a thief, and he loses his business

To Whom It May Concern,I was contacted via phone call by [redacted] a couple days before the storm (1/23/2016). She requested snow removal for her property and her for her neighbor's. (They share a driveway, which opens up at the end). We discussed plowing the driveway, snow blowing the sidewalks in...

front of each property, and shoveling the walkway to each house. During this phone conversation, let [redacted] know that since it was an expected Blizzard of two feet of snow, it would be more money. quoted the job as $100 for both houses. So $100 total for both houses. [redacted] then asked if we could arrive later in the day so it was freshly done for her husband who was on call with the city. That was not a problem; we made sure to arrive just as she asked and by this time every bit of two feet of snow has fallen.Once myself and three other workers arrived, we went to work. We removed all of the snow from each household's sidewalk, shoveled out the walkway to each front door, shoveled out each house's back door, and plowed the driveway which resulted in a huge pile of snow at the end of the driveway. While we were working, [redacted] stood and watched while we were removing the snow. She kept asking to push the pile of snow that has piled up at the end of her driveway. I tried explaining to her that since there was so much snow, it wouldn't move much further and she agreed.Once all work was completed, [redacted] paid me in cash for both houses. $100 total, $50 for each house to remove two feet of snow in a blizzard. I then offered out of courtesy to come back tomorrow if any extra dusting should happen; however, the snow ended that night. The next day, I received a phone call from [redacted] telling me that I do not need to return to the property because her husband and neighbor "did the rest." She then said, "So can you drop off the $50 refund?" Which I did not understand because all work was done Saturday and she had already paid us.Over the course of the next several days, I received phone calls from her asking to drop off the money, The second message she explained that she was going to to call the cops if didn't drop the money off.At this title, I went to the local township police station to find out what should do. They laughed at the matter and told me to ignore her. They stated that she is "crazy for trying to do that after we did the work." The police recommended that I continue to ignore her to avoid possible confrontation, so that is what I did.Two days later while I was at work, [redacted]'s husband showed up at my house demanding the refund, Once I got home, my stepfather informed The about what had happened. called the police officer who talked to before and he told me not to respond to her and that he would call and warn her to leave me alone. It was becoming harassment. The officer told her that if she had a problem over her $25 claim that she should to take me to court, noting that it would cost more money to go to court than her refund would be worth.Summarizing the important details of the matter I conclude: All work agreed upon was completed.[redacted] paid us when finished. There is no contractor anything in writing. $50 per house in a BLIZZARD (2 feet of snow) for four employees, shoveling, snowplowing, and Snow blowing is not unreasonable and she agreed on the price. I do not understand how [redacted] believes she is entitled to any money back. You cannot have work done then once it's completed, demand for half of it back.Thank you, Sean G. 2/11/16
