Sylvia, in the New Orleans office, sent me a text message concerning my request for a cleaning quote. I called and texted back to schedule an appointment. One week later she never responded. Guess they're not interested in my business...

Grout Works & Tile Restoration LLC put in ceramic tile in two of my bathrooms. In the process of installing the ceramic tile they cut the ceramic tile inside the house. This created ceramic tile dust all over the house. They did not cover up any furniture or items. Dust was so bad that on my kitchen stove which is black and stainless steel, I could write my name in the stove. Ceramic Dust in in the atmosphere of the home. I have not been able to live in the home since October 2015 upon their completion. My skin, eyes itch and my chest tighten up when I have to go over to just get something out of the house. Also, when Mr. [redacted] came to pick up his payment I pointed out to him that the bathroom was left in disarray, paint had been pulled from the wall, and trash from the installing of bathroom work was left outside in the driveway. I felt if I had not said anything he would have left everything the way it was. Finally, after complaing Mr. [redacted] sent a lady over to clean up in May 2016, but that did not resolve the issue. The home is still unlivable. I have lived in this home since it was built in 2000, and never encounter a problem of this nature until Mr. [redacted] company came in to install ceramic tile in my home.Desired SettlementI would like for Mr. [redacted] company to pay a professional company to come in the home and clean (drapes, blinds, and walls ( I had just had the home painted) also and rid of the ceramic dust from the atmosphere of the home so I can live in my home again.Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted], OwnerContact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXXContact Email: [redacted]@grout-works.comGrout Works begin the job for Ms. [redacted] 11/3/15 and completed it on 11/9/15. We tiled masterbath shower floor, masterbath floor, and guestbath floor. After completing the job, everything was settled. Before starting the job Ms. [redacted] said we could put the debris in her trash container outside. On 11/11/15 Ms. [redacted] called with a concern about us leaving material outside of her house and the trash container was too heavy for her to move. We had filled the container with debris and placed the other debris beside the trash container. I went by Ms. [redacted] house on 11/11/15 and removed all debris, even debris that had nothing to do with my job. While I was there, she indicated dust was left on the bathroom countertops (which we cut the tiles outside). I cleaned both bath countertops. She said everything was ok. On 6/3/16 Ms. [redacted] texted me around 11:30 pm and said there was still ceramic dust in her house and she heard water running from a sink faucet. She went in the bathroom and found water running from the commode flooding the floor and indicated this was due to something we had done. On 6/4/16 I call Ms. [redacted] and told her I would be there that morning with my tile man to check the leak and a lady to clean her house. I told Ms. [redacted] to tell the cleaning lady everything she wanted done. She said ok. My tile man and I went to Ms. [redacted] house around 9:00 am on 6/4/16. We found that Ms. [redacted] had a plumbing problem that had nothing to do with our job. We recommended her to get a plumber. About 9:30 am (same day) my cleaning lady arrived at Ms. [redacted] house. Ms. [redacted] told her the work she wanted done. After completion of cleaning, Ms. [redacted] indicated she was very satisfied with the cleaning. I paid the cleaning lady the total price for cleaning Ms. [redacted] house. On 6/29/16 I received an email Complaint Case from Revdex.com regarding dust in Ms. [redacted] house and that drapes, walls, and paint needed cleaning. I tried contacting Ms. [redacted] several times by leaving voice mails, and sent a text message. After text message, I left several more voice messages. Ms. [redacted] has not contacted me concerning this matter as of 6/11/16 at 12:00 noon.
