To Whom It May Concern, This is in response to a complaint made by Mr. [redacted]. Mr. [redacted] was seen by Dr. [redacted] for a comprehensive eye exam on October 24, 2014. He ordered glasses with his new prescription. When Mr. [redacted] came in he stated he had issues...

seeing clearly out of the left lens. We scheduled Mr. [redacted] for a recheck of the prescription and Dr. [redacted] determined that the refraction was accurate and the prescription given was correct. We made every effort to assure Mr. [redacted] that the lens was correct. We sent the lens back to the laboratory for a recheck and a remake as well. When Mr. [redacted] returned he stated he was not happy with the glasses and wanted a refund. This issue came to my attention while I was on a week vacation. On my return I was informed of the situation and I took it to Dr. [redacted] for confirmation of the circumstances. The practice agreed to refund Mr. [redacted] the cost for his glasses and lenses but, we strongly feel the eye exam was performed correctly. A check was sent to Mr. [redacted] along with his prescription. We feel Mr. [redacted] expected immediate attention to a large refund. We have procedures that must be followed to assure that the refund is warranted. Thank you for your time with this matter, Sincerely, [redacted]

Review: On October 24, 2014 I visited Grove Ave for a vision exam. I was advised that I needed a new prescription for my vision. I purchased new lens and frame from Grove Ave. After several weeks I was advised the new glasses were ready. I went back to the office and tried the glasses on. I immediately stated that the left lens did not feel correct to my left eye. I noted that it appeared to be a spot (blurr area) on the lens but stated I would try them for a couple days. I returned after several days to state that the left lens was not correct. It appeared to be to strong. I had my vision recheck and was advised that the left eye prescription was incorrect and it needed to be changed. They took my glasses and stated they would call me when the new glasses were ready. Several weeks later I went back and tried the new glasses on. I again stated the left lens did not appear to be correct but I would try them for several days. I went back and they re checked the lens and the fit on my glasses. They said they needed to send them to the shop to have them checked. After several weeks they called me back and I tried on the glasses. No changes were noted. I again said the left lens was not correct. They then stated they would replace the lens in the left eye. I advised [redacted] if this did not correct my concerns with vision in my left lens I would expect a full refund for the glasses and the vision exam. I also expressed dissastisfaction up to this point. The glasses came back and I tried them for several days and returned and stated the left lens was still incorrect and I could not see correctly out of the left lens. I asked for a full refund and left the glasses with [redacted]. This was on Feb 4, 2015. [redacted] stated the Eye Doctor [redacted] would call me. [redacted] has never attempted to Call - email or text me. I wrote a letter to [redacted] on March 2, 2015 stating that I was upset that I had a vision exam on October 24, 2014 yet still to this day do not have glasses that I can see correctly out of the left lens.Desired Settlement: I expect to receive a full refund for Vision exam and Glasses The total of the bill is 810.20.
