At this time, the formerly mentioned began to degrade our staff members and called the state on the center because they were unsatisfied with the time frame in which their form would be prepared. There was never an issue with distributing Grow N’ Learn’s license number or filling the form out, but after the unsatisfied customer humiliated and made our staff members upset and called the state, our center decided it was best if they found an alternative arrangement for their child. Grow N’ Learn takes pride in our staff members and we have an obligation to keep them comfortable and make sure they are treated with dignity and respect. Their enrollment deposit was returned in the promised 30 day time frame and there is proof of this as we have the copied check and proof of deposit. Review: I had enrolled my son at Grow N' Learn in April of this year and had left a deposit to confirm his enrollment. My hospital has a program which will reimburse a licensed daycare $40/weekto help cover the cost as an employee benefit thru our Human Resources Department. In July I had called Grow N'Learn and asked for their NJ state license number, which is required on the Human Resource form. They stated that they were not comfortable with giving it to me over the phone. I had explained that the license number was required to submit my reimbursement form. They said I could stop by and drop the form off, which I did one day after picking my son up from his current daycare. They said the owner was unavailable to talk. I let them know my husband would be by in the morning to pick up the completed form. Later that day, I called the state licensing department, and asked why would a daycare not give me their license number if my son was already enrolled at the facility. The state rep was a little confused also, and gave me Grow N' Learn's license number over the phone. The state then called Grow N'Learn to ask about their practices, and informed them that they had given me their license number. The owner was upset I called the NJ State OOL, and disenrolled my son. They sent me a letter stating that .."I discussed with you we would be returning a non-fundable registration fee in September."

I have called several time to talk with the manager Miss [redacted] and Miss [redacted], but they have not returned a message. I have told the workers on the phone that I was wondering when the check would be sent out, but still have not been contacted.Desired Settlement: A refund of the $85 we left as a deposit and was guaranteed to be refunded to me by the end of September.
