We have made contact with the customer and arranged a time to meet this week to get this resolved
Although we are sorry for the events that led up to the sale of this vehicle, in no way did *** intentionally mislead the customer on the inspection of this vehicle. Our policy is that we do a thorough inspection of all vehicles we offer for sale so salesmen can proudly tell
customers this knowing that we stand behind our vehicles. But, there are some vehicles, due to miles or other circumstances, that we do not fully inspect and only do a safety inspection and offer for sale AS-IS. This vehicle was sold and no condition or warranty was implied. When the customer bought this car they signed paperwork as such and understood that this car did not have any implied condition. As a gesture of goodwill we have offered to install, free of charge, a customer bought transmission if he chooses to do so but we are not responsible to repair the car due to its sales status of AS-IS

Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below. I contacted Pete H[redacted] on 8/20/2016 and left a message after he called me on August the 18th and left a message. I have also called twice this past week and I have not heard back from him or anybody else from the company. If I am made whole and fully reimbursed by Grubbs I will then accept the resolution. I can be contacted at ###-###-####. If I do not answer a message needs to be left with the appropriate person to contact and I will deal with them directly so this matter can be resolved and I can submit all documentation to complete the transaction.

We have agreed to unwind this car deal and return the customer's original vehicle to him and also pay him for his expenses incurred. We have tried to reach out to the customer but have since received a letter from his attorney so we contacted the attorney and told him we agreed to this but have not heard back. We are very sorry for the confusion on his purchase and agree it is in the best interest for both parties to part ways after he is made whole. At this point we just need someone to communicate back to us when and how this can be accomplished.

Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below. This is offer WAS NEVER MADE TO ME! I was told by Pete H[redacted] to pick up my car. They told me to go to a salvage yard and find a transmission and to find the cheapest place to install it. If they would have offered to install my transmission why did it take them to weeks to determine what was wrong with it? I also have no paperwork showing that they performed any type of diagnostic on it. I want a full reimbursement for my car rental fees, toll fees, transmission and installation fees and gas reimbursement. They sold me a car knowingly under false pretenses and their own salesman and sales manager acknowledged it.
