I understand from the letter the complainant disagrees with the billing of allergy services to the
insurance carrier and the attempts to contact her *** regarding the services rendered
Please accept this as a good faith effort to resolve this disputeThe complainant signed an informed consent document, which authorized me as the healthcare provider to perform allergy testing and immunotherapy procedures to include the preparation of antigens for allergen immunotherapyFurther the complainant also signed and acknowledged the patient registration form, affirming that the patient is responsible for all co-pays and deductibles and that the insurance carrier will be billed for the entire amount regardless of whether therapy is continued or not
The antigens for allergen immunotherapy are prepared for a year at a timeAfter hers were prepared, ** *** decided not to take the injections
Repeated attempts were made to call *** *** and when unable to reach her, *** *** was asked to have *** *** callThere have been several phone conversations between *** *** and our office and *** has been told repeatedly that *** is liable for the preparation of the antigens
Additionally, it is within our rights to seek payment for these services from the complainant's ***, as the guarantor of the health insurance policy, and in compliance with HIPAA and HITECH privacy laws

I am rejecting this response because:
I had made a few appointments at 7:30 AM to discuss this treatment with the Allergist, in which she never showed up for the appointments.  The paperwork stayed IF I go ahead with treatment, I never agreed to move forward with the treatment, and the allergist NEVER showed up for the appointments to discuss the options. Was also informed that an epi pen rx would be called in for me, it was never called in for myself, but [redacted] who chose to move forward with the treatment received an epi pen rx.   This issue can be handled in court if the [redacted] practice chooses to do do.  [redacted] was told a ton of info that was OUTSIDE HIPPA guidelines.  You cannot hold  is accountable when appointments are made to discuss treatment, and the allergist doesn't show up and decides to press on with treatment herself.
