Review: On oct. 17 2013 my wife was in a car accident. Car was dropped off on nov. 4 picked it up nov. 8. and car was dead would not start, [redacted] stated that it happens cause they leave doors open so I took nothing of it by car since then every day has had starting problems. Auto Zone check battery infomred me was dead-drained. Car is 2011 with 79423 miles, also other work like tire sensor light is still on bolts are not tighten down a bar across my battery is all bent up. I feel and can prove some what they are at fault. Tire sensor was supposed to be fixed in shop and was never done by their admission. He only reset the light and billed my insurance for work that was not done.Desired Settlement: Reimburse me at least half of battery charge total was $118.79= $59.39. Also replace bar udner hood by battery adn fix tire sensor still on. bolts screwed in please just make it right. thank you

Initial Business Response

In regards to the issues with the battery. The vehicle has 79,423 miles with the original battery and the fact that the battery was drained while it was here can in no way be attributed to the battery failing to charge correctly.

The battery hold down bar that is "bent up" was not caused by the collision and therefore was not repaired or replaced. Our technicians did not remove or disconnect the battery during the repair. Any "bending" of the battery hold down bar must have been pre-exsisting.

As for the tire sensor not being replaced, during our time repairing the vehicle the tpms indicator light did not come on. We reset the tpm system to make sure there were no underlying problems, we found none. All sensors were working properly.

The insurance company was not charged for the tire sensor itself. It was returned.

Review: My car was side swiped in a Target parking lot. I filed a claim with my insurance company and they recommended G&S Collision and Repair in Sacramento, California. I researched reviews, and ensured it was a reputable company. I was satisfied with what I seen so I dropped my car off there for the MINOR repairs of a few scratches and a new Right Side (passenger) mirror. Initially, I was told 3-4 days for the dent/ scratch removal, a new mirror and a paint job.3-4 days to repair minor damage, turned into 2 weeks!! When I picked the car up, it had almost 400 MILES, yes, 400 MILES more than when I dropped it off to them. Even the documentation they gave me itemizing the repairs indicates my car went to the shop with 21, 398 miles on the odometer, but I picked it up with 21,769!!! I called the owner, John, within 3 minutes of leaving his shop and he had no justification other than that couldn't be possible.Desired Settlement: I would like some if not all of my deductible of $500.00 back. It's apparent they/he used my car excessively and without my authorization. It's not feasible why that many miles could have or should have been on there!
