CRIME
I live in Los Pecos in Las Vegas. I have lived here for 12 years or more. For the past year this complex has had robberies, people assaulted and the latest is 29 cars with tires slashed and a crippled resident had patio door smashed and had a thief enter her apartment while she was in bed, and stole her purse from the living room. We are having catalytic converters stolen, some even twice on the same vehicle that replaced such, rocks thrown through car windows and contents stolen, also an older resident followed into her apartment and pushed down, her purse stolen to. We DO NOT HAVE SECURITY OR CAMERAS OR GOOD LIGHTING OF ANY KIND. T.V. stations have been here for the last week 3, 8 and 13. They are trying to help us. !3 was here last May and filmed 3 cars that were set on fire. The rent goes up every year, but nothing is done to protect us. I am 84 and I am getting rather concerned about our safety here. Nothing is being done to protect us, PERIOD. !

Been here for 20 years. Have not been treated to well for the last 5. Management not to responsive on caring about property or renter's concerns. haven't had the rug or paint done in 25 years if not more. Every month I have to take care of mold problems. Jan 2nd upstairs apartment had a water leak and now in my third week of vendor's working on it. Both bathrooms flooded rugs saturated with water. Tried many a times to call GSL properties no response.

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I see that there are a few things listed on here that are not trueFor example; I was never offered for my apartment to be baited for the cockroachesHad that been offered I would have taken the opportunity right away! This is something that has been going on for months and would have preferred that than moving out of my home! I would have remembered something like that being offered as well as someone telling me what I would have to doThis was NEVER offeredI would appreciate full honesty in a case like thisI will be taking pictures of how the apartment is left, and I expect most of my deposit backI do have my move in checklist which I will compare to any statements that may be made since people like to lieI am not happy with the fact that I had to move out of my home, move my son from schools, spend on moving costs WHICH should not have happened in the first place if people had been doing their jobSincerely, [redacted]

To The Revdex.com, I am writing you today in regards to the complaint filed by Mrs [redacted] that your organization receivedIn that statement she references her window sills and the mildew that is created from the condensation that naturally accumulates in that location This is a common problem at our community that is caused by both the hot New Mexico climate as well as an individual’s personal living habitsRegardless of the reason we at Ventana Ranch are prepared to clean and remove any mildew build up as a result of condensation, however we can’t control the way our residents decide to live in any individual apartmentIn addition to cleaning the window sill our maintenance team will also rebuild any window sills that have been damaged from the waterI have searched our records and do not have record of work orders placed by Mrs [redacted] nor do I remember speaking to her about this in early Because this is an issue we address for all of our residents Mrs [redacted] should rest assure any damage to the window sill from the condensation will be treated and repaired by Ventana Ranch at no cost to her Next, Mrs [redacted] , claims we ignored her request for pest control serviceLet me be clear, Ventana Ranch understands the importance of preventive maintenance and has teamed up with [redacted] to insure the best defense for our residents in regards to any pest issues we are asked to eliminateWith regular bi-weekly service provided by [redacted] there is no need for us to hesitate or deny pest control service to any of our valuable residentsBeginning in May and through the current month of July Mrs [redacted] has received pest control service to her apartment a total of timesThroughout these months I have spoken with Mrs [redacted] about other types of treatment such as baiting the apartmentThis treatment requires the resident to empty out all cabinets allowing space for [redacted] to place the bait and eliminate any of the pests in her residenceMrs [redacted] said she would think about it and let me know when she was prepared to bait the apartmentI heard from her next on July 17thDuring that conversation she decided to move forward with baiting her residenceThe following day I received an email from Mrs [redacted] which contradicted our phone conversation the previous day, this email was clear about not pursuing this avenue of combating the pests she has spoken ofI immediately called her to discuss and during this conversation Mrs [redacted] was adamant that she is not comfortable living in the apartment despite managements many efforts to deal with her complaintIn the interest of creating something positive for the resident it was then agreed to by both parties that we would enter into a mutual termination of the lease allowing Mrs [redacted] to move out without any early termination fees or the required day noticeThat day Mrs [redacted] came in to sign the termination of the lease and received a copy for her recordsAt that time, she wanted confirmation she would be given her full security deposit backAt that time, I explained the deposit will be returned to her minus any damages to the apartment that aren’t considered wear and tear and/or cleaning charges, if any In conclusion, Ventana Ranch values all of our residents both past and present As the property manager I can guarantee Mrs [redacted] will be held to the same standards all exiting residents are held toAny charges due to damages will be combined with photo(s) as tangible proof they existed Thank you, Felicia Z [redacted] Community Manager Ventana Ranch Apartments Universe Blvd Albuquerque NM
