Review: I purchase a service from this company on Jan 6, 2014 to provide a CODE to unlock a cell phone from another cell phone carrier. I paid 30.99 for the code. As soon as I received the code I took the information from GSM Liberty that was emailed to me, to another company that specialized in working on the phone. Myself and the other company tried for three days to get the phone unlock. We both called the GSM Liberty tech support, for help, emailed, followed emails and phone calls, nothing was accomplished. I finally got tired of going back and forth with the same people claiming they were senior staff and will provide me a refund. I have not received my refund as of this day yet for the bogus codes that were emailed to me. The codes never unlock the the phone, there fore all I want is money back for the services that was not completed. I have all emails, and phone contacts where I have tried to get this issue resolved.Desired Settlement: The company needs to honor their advertisement, of refunding money back when their product does not work.

Review: I ordered my iphone 4S to be unlocked for $99 and was promised in writing it would take 2 days. Sfter not having it in 2 days, I gave them a second chance to address the unlocking and waited another 3 days in which I received an email confirmation of the unlock. I proceeded to follow the instructions given, and the phone did not unlock. I alterted the company immediately in which, since then, I have been asked the same questions over and over about the details on the phone, the IMEI number and the carriers. All in which has been repeated to them a total of 5 times.Desired Settlement: I no longer wish to deal with this company or it's is. I only want my refund immediately.

Review: We placed a web based order with GSM Liberty to unlock an unused government cell phone for use during official travel in Central/South America. The order was placed on 15 April 2015 using a Government Purchase Card (GPC). The vendor was selected based on online reviews, overall price and ability to pay via GPC versus Paypal. The company was contacted repeatedly starting 21 April after failing to provide any feedback, unlock codes or instructions. GSM Liberty finally responded and provided a code; no instructions, no indication on what type of code was provided, etc. Online research finally turned up instructions and the code failed to work. GSM Liberty was contacted and a help ticket submitted on 21 April, ticket number is [redacted]. We posted replies in the ticket assuming a technician would read and respond. To date (4/28) no response has been received via email or telephone nor has ticket been updated by the support desk. Called GSM Libery Support on 4/27 and representative indicated that matter had been elevated to supervisor and that someone would be in contact. No such contact has been attempted or made.Desired Settlement: While GSM Liberty offers an excellent price, their service, timeliness and support are greatly lacking. Request that the purchase price of $9.95 charged to our Government Purchase Card be fully refunded immediately. Also request that this complaint be filed permanently against the company for failure to render services as advertised.

Review: I went online looking for a company that sell cellphones unlock codes...I fount gsmliberty site which charged $9.99 and they say they gonna email you your unlock code.when calling they number [redacted] two different women answer the phone and says you reached ubi college.. Total scam....Desired Settlement: Would like to see this site immediately closed down and any other company they have..would rather see them tracked down and prosecuted..

Review: falsely charged for a service done by others.

I requested a service to unlock iPhone. after 1 week they said I needed to pay the higher fee because it was more expensive. I said ok. after loging to their server over a 3 week period and getting absolutely zero information about the status of the unlock, and sending countless email to their tech guy Jason. their was zero information about the unlock either from emails from him or on their website . I decided to an another unlock company who promised 2 hour service. I checked 1 last time at 11:30 pm on april 16, 2015 and the phone was still unlocked JUST TO MAKE SURE gsmliberty hadn't !!!!. I engaged the new unlock service and at 2 :10 am MY PHONE WAS UNLOCKED. THE NEW COMPANY UNLOCKED IT IN 2 HR : 30 MINUTES.

2 weeks later gsmliberty emails me and says the iPhone is unlocked !!! no kidding.... it was unlocked alright .... 2 weeks before by the other company. since they had my iPhone emei code they're computers checked and found it was unlocked and charged my visa account 6 weeks later on may 29, 2015

these guys are the most dishonorable groups of mobile Phone unlockers on the internet. please people beware of these guys. my guess is that when I file this complaint they won't respond just like the previous people who have complained. I will give an update to this when Revdex.com does its thingDesired Settlement: refund

Review: Company's email statement: "Hello [redacted], We sent you a reply on 21 Oct 2014 03:56 PM ET: Thank you for your updates. We checked the post, however your feedback is about Unlock-Code-World and not GSMLiberty. Please clarify. Best Regards,[redacted] GSMliberty Support Team."

Consumer's response statement: "Hi [redacted]-

To help to clarify the misunderstanding as previously noted there was some underlying confusion with the two different businesses. Your business being one of the two businesses. Due to possible falsification of your advertisement and misrepresentation, I have filed a report with Revdex.com. The confusion was with the name, "[redacted]", as previously stated in our correspondences. The same name, "[redacted]", appeared in the responses at the close of the email correspondences and resulted in the confusion. After learning that the company could not provide quality service, then I went with your business, GSMLiberty.

At the time I wrote the review it was to reflect my honest opinion about your level of service. Since there was an honest human error in company names, which has since been corrected I still am entitled to not only to a margin of human error but also to a refund. With the correction made, your business is held under the statues that are disclosed in your promotional disclosure to honor a customer's review posting.

No where in your promotional disclosure does it indicate penalizing the customer for making human error and returning to rectify the error, then resubmitting the review blog for review to be granted a full refund in the amount of $28.99."Desired Settlement: In closing, I would like to resolve this matter by granting me a full refund under by which falls within the guidelines of your promotional advertisement and that your business is expected to follow through in accordance with the Fairness Act. I expect a response within 48 hour .

Thanks for your cooperation. I look forward to hearing from you.
