I have an Mercedes E320-2000 and the air stopped working. The shop in question was my shop for over 10 years. I was told that the compressor failed and needed replacing. We agreed that I would purchase the parts and *** (the owner) would install them. I bought the compressor and was told the clutch was no good. I paid $800.00 to install this part to make my air work. I purchased another clutch and was told it would cost me another $300.00 to install the new clutch. I paid the $300.00 and I still don't have air.
*** is a mechanic and knew what was needed and still took my money and refused to speak to me any longer. I was directed to his Son ***.
We got a chance to talk with our customer and we were able to come to a great resolution. She is a great customer so we were happy that we could address her concerns in a satisfactory way for both of us. She booked an appointment for Monday, 9/14/2020.
