The tenant [redacted] signed a one year lease which was given to her. She moved in and then requested another lease because, her boyfriend who was on the lease with her left. When the boyfriend left she immediately called [redacted] and said she wanted to move out. She said she is now moving to Florida...
since she is no longer with the boyfriend.[redacted] told her that she signed a one year lease and is obligated to stay for the year and out of the kindness that we show all our tenants, we told her if she left the apartment exactly as she moved into it we would only refund her security deposit. A check was mailed to her for refund of her security deposit on 9/1. Technically we could have kept the deposit since she broke the lease. I resent the fact that she referred to us as slumlords. We take pride in how well we keep our units . We have over 70 tennants and have never received this type of complaint before. We have an excellent reputation with all the government housing agencies. We take care of our homes and all our tenants concerns. This complaint is unwarranted and she is due no money.
