I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute
Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below.The check engine light was on BEFORE the vehicle was taken off of the lot, if the company makes sure their vehicles are "mechanically sound" before placing them in the lots, I wouldn't of had any issues with the car within daysAlso, the mechanic told me as he took the test drive WITH ME that, "It probably just needs a tune up." When I asked about if anything happens to the car can they repair it for free, he said "We TEND to stick by our motors and transmissions." If you review other customer reviews they've had the SAME issues with this business; I CANNOT be the only one who has to see this issue with this shady placeThey sell cars long enough for you take make a couple payments and then you're SOL when the car breaks downI can't comprehend why they would want to keep BOTH the vehicle and someone's hard earned money; I would completely understand if it were a payment made or if I had it for at least a couple of weeks, but it cannot be legal to keep my downpayment AND the carI wasn't even informed as to what all the papers I was required to sign were even aboutEvery dealership I've spoken to does not operate in such business manorsAnother thing to add is, not only was the vehicle just overheating within an hour of purchasing, but one of the pistons was misfiring, (MOTOR EXPENSE) that they failed to mentionThe day I returned the car they asked for all the papers that I had signed when purchasing the car to be handed back over to themWho keeps the papers when you already have original copies? That's shady and no telling what was altered, I will kindly ask again for my downpayment before this goes further into court
