GTI Holdings

I have been getting phone calls saying I took out a loan in 2009 with GTI holdings. I've never even heard of this company. They say I owe $1400. But would cut me a deal for half. In 6 payments. I want these calls to stop. How they got all my information I'll never know.

Review: Received phone calls today from a Processing firm called Coastal [redacted] saying they were trying to collect a debt that I was not aware of in 2011 for GTI holdings. They claimed GTI Holdings sent 2 registered mailings to me, which I never received in 2011. The callers, [redacted] and a gentleman by the name of [redacted] all told me today that they were not a debt collection firm but were processing me to court in another state to have me summoned and if I could not show or pay them on the phone today either a Settlement amount of $280 or $400 then I would be arrested for check fraud. I have never broken a law in my life, let alone check fraud and I have no idea who GTI holdings is. Coastal refused to send me ANYTHING regarding my debt from GTI Holdings, but were eager to want my money. The calls I received were threatening, harassing, cursing, and angry. [redacted] yelled at me and hung up. They all told me they would have me arrested on a warrant. This item has never showed on my credit report. I don't know who GTI Holdings is and your website says they are out of business and companies are trying to collect on them, yet they shut in 2013. As a consumer? What should I do?Desired Settlement: Have these people stop calling me, swearing at me, threatening me with arrest and being rude.

If I owe a debt provide me with proof.

Wow this company is saying I took out a payday loan in 2011 . Under my social which I never had . Now there threading me with law suites and harassing me and my family . I've even got told that bad things will happen to me if I don't pay it. Why should I pay something I never used.

Review: GTI Holdings has left several threatening, harassing, and deceitful voicemail messages in flagrant violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. GTI Holdings does not identify themselves as debt collectors in their voicemails even though they are a debt collector also in flagrant violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. In addition, GTI Holdings illegally spoofs their phone number to try and deceive people into picking up their phone calls. GTI Holdings debt collection practices are illegal under the FDCPA and are intended to oppress and harass. In addition, their threatening and harassing phone messages are flagrantly illegal under the FDCPA. Furthermore, GTI Holdings intentionally and flagrantly hires debt collectors who use illegal debt collection tactics to try and collect on their debt. In addition, GTI holdings illegal sells their customer information to multiple debt collectors for the same debts which is a flagrant violation of the FDCPA.Desired Settlement: Cease and desist, close any and all accounts permanently, delete all of my information permanently, stop all communications in lieu of the flagrant violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

GTI Holdings is in receipt of Revdex.com consumer complaint ID [redacted] and is responding to this consumer matter: GTI is very concerned about these accusations and believes strongly that these claims are with the wrong company. GTI Holdings has been out of business for over 15 months, was never in the business of collections, has never directly attempted collecting bad debt from this consumer and has not been in contact with this consumer recently for any reason. Prior to closing, GTI sold all bad debt to 3rd party outside collections agency who were licensed to handle collections.

Unacceptable collections tactics, as claimed, should never be tolerated. Would it be feasible for this consumer to obtain and provide the business name and address of the collection company calling so a Revdex.com complaint can be filed on the collection company who created this dissatisfaction?
