This "Business" is ran by a crook. Not only will he take your money, he will keep your ecu as well, don't send this it anything of yours unless you love disappointment. He used to be one of the best in the business but now his drug addiction took over and he has ruined his name.

Review: I contacted [redacted] at Gonzo Tuning to get my ECU with their software, reflashed, as the tune that they put on this ECU was defective. My car ran terribly. They would admit no fault in the software, but said they would reflash the ECU for me at a cost of $300 to $400. I agreed, but stated that I needed the ECU back ASAP, since my car would be inoperative without it, and my car was holding up a rack at my local repair shop[redacted] agreed to get it flashed and back to me quickly.I shipped the ECU to them by US Postal Express mail, and they attempted to deliver it, but no one was at their office, so it was returned to the Bear, Delaware PO awaiting pickup. I tried to contact [redacted] and the owner of the company to get the ECU picked up, but received no responses. After the ECU sat at the Post Office for 5 days, it was returned to me by the Post Office. After it was returned, I finally heard from [redacted], who stated he was out due to being sick. Intially I offered my condolences, but later found out that he and the business owner were communicating with other people during the time that the ECU was sitting at the post office, they just chose not to respond to any of my communication.Due to my time crunch, I had to purchase software for another ECU, that cost me $650. This fixed the issue I was having. So, I contacted the owner, and verified that the ECU with Gonzo software could be resold, and he said yes. Two weeks later, the owner of Gonzo Tuning found out that I put Unitronic software in my car, and stated that he would not honor his company guarantee (to relicense used software to anyone that buys their software on the used market), or his promise he made to me. In fact he went a step further, and told a person that wanted to buy the ECU from me, that he would not support them, and that the ECU was considered a dead ECU (one that he would not relicense). These guys are dishonest, are terrible communicators, and their product is poorly written. Run away, save yourself the headache.Desired Settlement: Honestly, I would have let this go had they allowed me to sell their defective software, but now there is no way that I can do that, due to their shady communications to anyone insterested in this software. So, at this point, the only solution would be for them to buy this ECU from me, for what I was trying to sell it for. $300. I would not feel comfortable taking any money from anyone for this defective product.I will ship this ECU to them once they purchase it from me.

Response:

[redacted] bought a used, second hand turbo kit from a third party (read: not Gonzo Tuning). Said turbo kit had a highly customized, one-off tune tailored to the car the turbo kit was taken from. Gonzo Tuning cannot warranty used kits purchased outside Gonzo Tuning and Gonzo Tuning’s dealer network, nor can we guarantee that Gonzo Tuning software will run without any issues with a used kit purchased outside Gonzo Tuning and Gonzo Tuning’s dealer network. If [redacted] wants to purchase a Stage 3 tune and the proper injectors for his car, we can offer him a 10% off retail. By purchasing the proper tune he would obtain support like a direct Gonzo Tuning customer would along with a proper license to use our software. Thanks [redacted] International Account Manager

Review: I placed an order with Gonzo on 11/14/14 (paid in full) and as of today 1/26/15 I still have not even received the base tune(or hoodie) I requested and have a non-running car sitting in my garage. This has been a long and arduous process. I sent him 12 different emails the three days before the order just to clarify everything. He said he would have everything besides two adapters and the hoodie shipped out the next day and then have the other adapters dropped shipped to me. The first package was not sent out for shipping until 12/2/14 over two weeks later than agreed upon. I received my first package nearly a month later on 12/9/14. There was a one day delay in me receiving the package and this was NOT his fault as it was the fault of the USPS. However, the first package only contained the flashloader and the adapters... No injectors, that were supposedly in stock when I ordered. I sent Gonzo an email 12/15/14 letting him know I was going to be out of town for the next couple weeks and I needed my injectors in the next 72 hours. He then sent them for delivery on 12/16 and without asking me had them listed as hold for pickup at the post office... These were scheduled to arrive two days after I was leaving town. Since, I was going to be gone two weeks I then paid an additional $22.60 to have them redirected from the post office to where I was going to be for the holidays. I sent him an email on 12/17 letting him know my frustrations with his customer service and asking that he make me a happy customer(a phone call with an apology would have made me happy at this point). I arrived back in town and was busy with work and on 1/12 I went to install the tune... Nothing. No, instructions came with anything and once again I tried to contact Gonzo. Not surprisingly, I heard back from a random person on a forum before I heard back from Gonzo. I followed the link he sent me to download the program and watch the poor quality youtube videos with no audio on how to request the license info that evening and I waited. I sent an email on 1/17/15 asking what was going on. On 1/19/14 I sent another email stating I still have not heard anything all the while I had called and left messages and messaged him on a local forum that he had been active on while not responding to me. On 1/20/15 he finally responded via email and said he had not received my licensing info. I let him know that I would go home that evening and reprocess the info. I sent an email the following morning letting him know that I could not get his program to work. Once again... No response. I sent another email on 1/23/14 after finally fixing the issue by reloading the program multiple times and realizing I needed to charge the battery in my car that had been sitting for months. He finally responded letting me know again he did not receive it replied with a condescending, 'Do it over again and pay attention.' Really? I paid nearly $800 dollars to you, to have you allude that I'm stupid? I let him know I would get home and process this manually as he requested and he should receive it around 9pm. I sent him the info at 8:48pm and he responded at 8:49pm that he received info. I let him know immediately afterwards that I was looking forward to driving my car tomorrow and finally getting it out of the garage... I have yet to hear from him again. I have called, emailed (his personal email that goes to his phone) and have still heard nothing. His own programming says give him 24 hours to respond and it is now 4 days later again. Through all of this he has never answered a single call nor returned one (no matter how many times I have asked as it would give me a better piece of mind to talk to someone.) I contacted 4 of his competitors yesterday and everyone one of them answered my calls and emails immediately and seemed truly interested in helping me tune my car.Desired Settlement: I either want what I paid for including my tune and hoodie within 24 hours... Overnight the hoodie! I would also like him to refund me the $22.60 that I had to pay as he changed my shipping info without my permission. If this is not possible I would like a full refund as I want nothing to do with Gonzo or his company.

Review: I pre-ordered the GTTx-052 (K03) from Gonzo / GTS Tuning. With this order I purchased a turbocharger unit, exhaust manifold, fuel injectors, turbo inlet pipe, and custom software for my car's ECM (main computer). He said there was a 3 month lead time which was fine with me.

I paid for it on 01/02/2014. I received the turbo by it's self around the beginning of April, I don't have the exact date since I didn't receive a tracking number. A little while past and I hadn't received any other items and no one at GTS Tuning had contacted me. On 04/17/2014 I sent an e-mail explaining that I had only received the turbo and wanted to know the status of the remaining items. On month later I received a response from GTS apologizing for the delay and they asked which items I still needed. I explained that I only received the turbo and was still waiting on the high-flow exhaust manifold, TIP, and injectors. This was 2 months after the 3 month lead time. So, 5 months from when they received my payment.

So, on 07/02/2014 I received a tracking number for the high-flow manifold. I was also told that they should have the remaining items out by the end of the week. At this point GTS tuning has had around $1450 of my money for SEVEN months.

Shortly after I received the high-flow manifold and then on 07/07/2014 I received an e-mail stating that I should receive the remaining items by the end of the week.

At this point I'm pretty skeptical about sending GTS my ECM and receiving it in a timely manner. Mainly because this is the car that I drive to work every day. So, hoping that my items are still on their way, I waited. I received an e-mail from GTS on 08/26/14 asking if I'm missing anything. The very next day I reply saying that I am still waiting on all my items except for the turbo and manifold. I received no response.

On 10/28/14 I sent another e-mail asking about the remaining items.

Still no response.

So, finally on 02/25/2015 I sent another e-mail.

Still no response.Desired Settlement: To have my full purchase price refunded. The items that I have are useless without the remaining items.

Review: I ordered a product from this company on the 29th of July. I was able to contact the company once about product information and did not hear anything back since then. About a month after ordering the product I contacted the company to get a refund since they were not sending me the product I bought from them. It has been weeks since I requested a refund and I still have not received my refund. I have already tried to get my money back from the bank that I use and they would not work with me since the transaction is already a couple months old.Desired Settlement: All I ask from this company is my money back so I can give my business to another company that will work with me.

Review: I pre ordered the gonzo tuning turbo kit on December 8th 2013 in agreement that I would have the entire kit (turbo, manifold, injectors, turbo inlet pipe, and tune) within 2 months it is now May 16th 2014 and I have received the turbo and inlet pipe from the company I sent me ECU to be tuned and it was delivered on Friday April 11th to be tuned and shipped back to me. I paid for 2day shipping back and have tried countless times to reach the company and mr [redacted] (owner) via phone call to both shop numbers listed on the Revdex.com's website, emails to both sales and support [redacted] and Facebook messages to me [redacted]. I have been waiting for 7 months total and 1 month for my tune. If the business would contact me back it would be fine but I have had no insight to why it's taking so long. I have had to purchase a separate vehicle to get to work because of this business and I have had several friends email inquiring about service and they have gotten responses from the company leaving me to believe I am being ignored. I have looked on forums such as vw vortex and see that "[redacted]" has logged in daily and tries to sell his product to several people when he can't respond to a customer waiting 7 months after paying $1605 to his company. All I want is my ecu back with the exact tune he told me I would get and an apology from the owner.Desired Settlement: I want the tune I was told I would get for e85 on 1000cc @3bar and upped boost for my 8.5.1 compression I would also like a response from the company explaining why I have been swept under the rug while others get there stuff back in days.

Review: IN may of 2013 I paid for tuning software for my car. I sent my cars ECU to Gonzo at Gonzo tuning. I received my ECU back in a timely manner, but hadnt noticed at the time that what I received back was not the same ECU I sent. The ECU I received was for an entirely different part number ECU (for a different model audi TT). Since I was having problems with the software working, I made contact with Gonzo and after a lot of attitude, he eventually gave me a refund. Once he gave me the refund I wrote an accurate review of his services. No later than an hour after I posted my review, I received a notice that Gonzo was retracting his refund from my pay pal account. He claimed that the transaction was "unauthorized", when I have clear evidence that he offered me a refund. Gonzo claims that my issues were hardware related, and in no way related to his ECU tune. But I have made contact with an entire network of people that are having similar issues with the services and unethical dealings of Gonzo tuning. Gonzo has stolen my ECU and committed an act of "bait and switch"Desired Settlement: I want a full refund of the $300 I spent for the ECU tune, AND either the correct ECU That I sent him, or reimbursement for the cost of a new ECU of the correct part number.

Response:

[redacted] purchased high perfomance software from us sometime in May of 2013. We have spent countless hours helping [redacted] sort out his car. [redacted] has installed an aftermarket turbo kit not designed by Gonzo Tuning. Gonzo Tuning cannot warranty kits purchased outside Gonzo Tuning and Gonzo Tuning’s dealer network, nor can we guarantee that Gonzo Tuning software will run without any issues with a kit purchased outside Gonzo Tuning and Gonzo Tuning’s dealer network. Our refund policy is as follows: If for some reason you are dissatisfied with our service, you are able to obtain a full refund by shipping out your ECU to our headquarters within 60 days of purchase, where we will process your ECU and refund you. Gonzo Tuning reserves the right to refuse any warranty claim if problems arise from improper installation, misuse, or abuse of the performance reflash or service we performed. Gonzo Tuning reserves the right to inspect the ECU/parts for evidence of tampering or misuse. If such is the case, Gonzo Tuning may decline the claim. [redacted] is clearly out of the 60 day window of our refund policy. Out of good will on our part, we can offer [redacted] a PARTIAL refund if he sends in the ECU to our headquartes to get inspected and returned to stock. We reserve the right to refuse to refund him if we determine the ECU has been tampered with in any way. Thanks [redacted] International Account Manager

Review: Placed an order January 5th, was charged January 6th. Sent numerous emails and phone calls with no response. January 8th I called my credit card company and disputed the charges. January 12th gonzo sent me the first non-automated email saying he would send me a cable and do a remote flash for me. Never received a cable and never heard from him again. February 11th I get an automated email from his site saying my order status was "chargeback", never heard that phrase but figured okay it must be my credit. February 17th my credit card company credited me and all was good.

I received a letter from my credit card company again saying my card had been re-billed since the cancellation, as described by the merchant (gonzo) "was done in an untimely and improper manner". Needless to say after digesting this I called my CC company and told them to reopen the case as he is now just trying to take me for $433.

I was able to reach him after I called him out on a public forum and exchanged a couple of emails before he no longer responded. I've re-opened the case with my credit card company several times since and have tried to contact gonzo via phone or email again with no response.Desired Settlement: I would like the full amount of $433 that I was charged refunded back to my credit card
