To whom it may concern,
On 5/12/2016, the customer contacted Guaranteed Total Construction (GTC) inquiring about an estimate for a new glass sliding door.  On 5/18/2016, a representative from GTC assessed the work that...

would be needed to done for the customer.   A contract was signed and a down payment was made for material to be ordered and work to begin on 6/6/2016. After the work was completed the customer was happy and said she would be sending a check for the remainder of the balance.  It was explained to the customer, before starting and upon completion, that the door installed had a lifetime warranty and that she would also receive a one year workmanship warranty.  On 6/8/2016 the customer called and said she believed water was not draining properly near the door track and had questions about the door lock.  GTC scheduled to send someone out immediately, but the customer changed the appointments three times between 6/8 and 6/29.  On 7/7/2016 another installer was sent out because the customer wanted someone different to come out.  At this time, we explained that her foundation was not level due to settling of the home and that we had made adjustments during the original install but she still wasn’t satisfied.  She was also concerned with the door lock that was originally approved because of a past break in.  We agreed to re-adjust the door, reset the lock and also raised the bottom of the door within the track to make sure the sill pitch was correct for drainage.  While performing these duties, our installer went ahead and re-capped the outside of the door, re-insulated the door with sealant and vinyl trim.  During this time, it began to rain which allowed water to go back into the track and the customer was able to observe the proper drainage occurring.  With both our installer, and the office manager present, the customer was pleased, stating that she was going to have us do other work in the near future.   The customer paid for the project in full at this time. Approximately one week later, GTC received a message that the customer was unhappy with the project and now felt like the materials ordered and used were not up to her standard, and that she wants all of her money back. Obviously, we are confused after her original concerns were quickly addressed and the customer was happy with all materials ordered.  We had explained the door came with a 5 year glass breakage warranty and lifetime warranty on the door unit, insulated glass unit, moving parts and a 20 year fiberglass screening and that we offered a one year workmanship warranty.  We addressed and replaced items that did not need to be replaced after the first install and continue to stand behind our work and materials installed.
